- Absolutely fantastic news. Am so pleased for Diego`s owners. Welcome home Diego. Stay close now:-)
It may be that Diego was chased out of her territory by a more dominant cat, and if they goi too far, they sometimes get disorientated, and lost. Or possibly she "Hitched a lift" maybe? She obviously found her way home eventually. GET WELL SOON DiegoLast edited: 2017-05-22 08:13:52 - 2017-05-22 01:50 Julie Gee

- Thank you everyone, Diego has now come home. She found her own way home 9 months after going missing, she's very thin, covered in scans/cuts and lots of bakd patches. I will be taking her to the vets in the morning, but for now she is warm, comfy, and had some food. She's happy to be home and we are so happy she found us again.

- Early days yet, and as she is spayed should not be too far away. Her territory will be about 2/3 garden spaces albeit she hasn`t "Hitched a lift" as to where she lives Check sheds, garages, greenhoyhses in case shut in. Put some tuna in her dish, and call her; night/early morning is best. Rattle
some treats too. Put sonething with her scent on in to a clean container, such as her blanket/bedding, along with something with your scent on too (The feeder) Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry. Wipe her scdent on your garden fences, gates, doors too. Walk round the area hollding something with her scent on, and rattle some treats such as dreamies. Someone may be feeding her
(Common problem) try a squeaky toy as it mayh a tract her attention If used leave her used litter tray in the garden too, as it`s early days yet. Paws xd. - 2016-09-04 10:17 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
