- I have shared with DL FB Page, Public & Twitter. I hope Stripes is safely back at home soon.

- Just to add that I've shared to as many sites as I can (within the limits of Fb potentially blocking me for too much sharing). I've also posted to a number of Chelt vets Fb sites, but would add that posters put up in the surgeries probably would be a good idea. Also hand out posters if you can to postmen, refuse collectors etc etc, all may have seen something or someone with a new dog. I hope that you do find her.

- Owner needs to check rescues around the area as well in case. I can't see her on the Cheltenham Animal Rescue site (for rehoming or anything) but it's worth them giving them a ring. And any others around there. Surely if she isn't well she would have been taken/registered with a vet by now - if owner could print some posters and maybe even just put a batch in the post to the various vets. Obviously it's not known whether she's much further afield than the local area but could be worth a try?

- Owner reported her missing 2 weeks ago to the Cotswold and Cheltenham DWs. Ive suggested he goes further afield and does vets too. She could be anywhere by now, as the people who picked her up were told who she belonged to .Im about to send advice sheets . Ive asked owner to get her on as much social media as he can, and in papers

- Sorry to see that STRIPES is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (104472)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!

- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
