REUNITED AT LAST!! Picked by yesterday late afternoon. Claire the DW waited after her shift ended so could reunite. Papers have been informed and will be contacting Conn to do a follow up story and get a reunited picture and will send to us.
Lambeth council made no charge at all as a stolen dog all fees were waived.
Once we get a photo will update as i know many have followed this story and we all love a happy ending.Chip details to be updated !

As not heard from Conn I phoned DW for update- appears should be collecting Queenie this afternoon. She will update me when he has collected her. Great help from staff especially Claire ( animal warden) at Lambeth council.

When I spoke to papers yesterday while trying everything to track owner they said to update if found- which i have - maybe they will do a follow up??

No more news but expect Conn has left a message with council I would imagine DW is out doing her job so wont pick up his message till back in the office and then needs to contact him back and arrange collection with kennels. Will update as soon as we know.

OWNER FOUND!!! Just spoken to Conn and he will now phone Lambeth dog warden to collect .
Will not reunite until Conn has Queenie- As may take time to sort.

well this has been a roller coaster day. Queenie has been located!! She is now currently safe. Luckily Conn's mobile was added by doglost to the chip company - but it no longer works! ...but the warden was given doglost details as the ones who have last updated with the chip company.
Animal warden was given my mobile so phoned to see if had another number. Sadly do not. I said would do all i can to find him - knowing that QUEENIE is safe
So a message has been taken by BTP asking the police at Clapham to see if busking. I have left a message for the met safer neighbourhood teams to see if can locate. Finally the manage of Wholefoods store knows of him as a regular so taken details for when he next comes in- she also walks past the station to go home so will also see if he is around.
Have contacted the paper that ran the story in case they have another number- I have also tried the number on one of his posters 07497222715 but states the mobile number is not available.

So helpers in SW11 we know where the dog is now need to find this owner !!
A 2nd Photo on site for easy recognition of owner Conn.


Now sending messages out on facebook and twitter as well to try and track down the owner.

I agree, I saw an old dog outside local library for over 1.5 hours - I kept coming back after doing bits of shopping and it was always there - I went into the library and the receptionists said other people had reported it; they said they thought they knew who owner was but they had left the library!! When I returned a while later the dog had gone - if I had seen the owner, I would have said something.

Sunday August 28 at 9:17pm, owner tied Queenie outside Wholefoods in Clapham Junction as he went inside to buy her some dog foo he was in there for less than a couple of minutes- as he was paying at the till I heard a man shout, ‘whose dog is that outs he replied-that dog is mine’.
He turned to me and grinned then replied ‘okay!’ Then two of the staff went outside to see Queenie and reported that the man was gone and Queenie was still there.
Owner went outside immediately between the staff coming back inside the store but found Queenie was gone

It is believed that man may have valuable information as to the whereabouts of Queenie.
He was about 5’10” tall, white, and spoke with a south or east London accent.
CCTV footage is currently being observed and is due to be released at the beginning of next week to police.

It is thought that the theft has been caught on camera, and owner is waiting for police to provide permission for it to be passed on to third parties in the hope that the image can be circulated.
