Fantastic news. Someone has obviously been feeding him. Cats are crafty:-) Stay close now Henry:-) It may be that the poerson who has been feeding Henry, has perhaps moved, or has gone on holiday. And Henry has come back for food. Quite a a common happening . That`s cats for you!:-). We dont own our cats., "They own us":-)xxxLast edited: 2016-09-27 13:50:21

Henry has come home! Thanks everyone for your help and support. 21 days away and he just turned up at the back door. A bit shouty but otherwise fine.

Thanks very much for all your support and suggestions. I had a reported sighting of him from a cat owner nearby which suggests that he could be heading north from here. We moved from Oakington two months ago, and although he has been thoroughly settled here, it's possible that he's now heading through Girton towards Oakington. Please can anyone in that direction keep a special watch out for him.

Ps As he is neutered should be in the vicinity somewhere

Neutered cats domt tend to go too far usually. Presume sheds, garages, greenhouses checked? Put some tuna in his dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put something with his scent on into a clean container, such as his blanket/bedding/soft toy, along with somethoing with your scent on too Leavce in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry. Wipe his scent on your
garden fences, gates, doors too. Walk around the area holding something with his scent on, and rattle some treats such as dreamies. Someone may be feeding him. (Common problem) Try a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention . Poster around the area, and put "Lost" posters through doors too.
