Team of volunteers in Mortimer trying to catch the loose Saluki, but so far no-one has been able to get near. Is anyone in contact with Fly's owners? I have text both numbers but no response.

Hi, there has been a light coloured Sulaki spotted in Mortimer Berkshire, for the last three nights in a row. It's too nervous to get near, and only seems to make an appearance at night. It has been spotted near Budgens, Brewery Common, Windmill Road and in the Englefield Woods. Worth checking out as we re only 40min from Alton. X X

Please do not dismiss the dog found in Netherlands just on the basis the picture does not show black hair in the ears. Dog thieves have been known to dye distinctive markings on a dog, in order to disguise them. The post says some hair has been cut.

Spoke to Fly's owner - family have seen posting of found dog now - are sure it is not fly.

Saluki- She was rescued from a canal in the Netherlands but is microchipped with an English chip. I have contacted Fly's owner.

I have spoken to the owner this evening. The white dog is microchipped and we are trying to find details to register her as stolen with the chip company. She is very timid around strangers and likely to run off given a chance.
The owner has promised that if the dogs are returned safely to him no questions will be asked.
