Maddy was playing outside with owners children and wandered off. Owner thinks someone local( children perhaps) may have taken her . Any help to spread the word would be great. CJLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I got a positive response from the Community Safety Team supervisor - what a star :-) He mailed me tonight to say he will let his staff in the area know about Maddy and ask them to speak to people in the area to see if anyone knows anything. I hope it helps! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Sorry, I've been without a PC for a while but I did manage to check my emails at the library on the day this one came through and I sent it to my brother who lives in Princes Park. I asked him to poster and to look out for her. I will call him today about her still being missing. Do we know if she was stolen/escaped/ran off? It's such a busy area, someone must have seen her. I think The Community Safety Team do quite a lot of work in that area. I used to do Youth Work down there so I know one of the supervisors, I will send him a poster and see if he can get his staff in that area to ask the young people they speak to if they have seen or heard anything. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Maddy well. Stay safe little Maddy, until you are found x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Morrisons is a key place up there to poster and the nearby garage, also Lordswood lesiure centre. I'm not up that way for a couple of days. Is anyone around there. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I know someone in Princes Park and will give them a poster. I wonder if children might be involved here. Young, sweet looking pup and children on holiday getting bored. Cynical it might sound but there are loads up there. Will print off some postersLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
