- Adam Yates (owner) on FB quote "Massive thank you to all the people who came to Heaton Park over the last two days to look for Norman, to my friends and family and the many many people who don't know me, my family or Norman but gave up their day to search the park. To the almost 5000 people who shared the picture on Facebook and to all the staff at Heaton Park who were so helpful and accommodating.
Norman was missing for 33 hours.
I met a man this morning in the park who had come to look for Norman with his son and their Patterdale dog. I don't know this man but I can't thank him enough as he put me on to the Fell and Moorland WTC who sent 3 heroes and a dog all the way from Burnley. These guys dug and dug like machines and even though my hope was fading they never gave up and worked harder and harder. They were convinced he was down a hole and he was. 45 feet down to be exact. We are all so grateful to everyone who help and did their part and can't thank you all enough. We are a family again." - Whether Norman was 14 or 45 ft down - without the team that came out to find him, this little dogs life may not have been saved - 2016-09-12 20:54 Bo

From us here at PP, a HUGE thank you to everyone involved in the search effort to find this little lad and bring him home to his family! ❤️ - 2016-09-12 09:51 Karis
- such a large park that exits cover bury, rochdale, and Manchester, towards Salford from middleton road, being different councils, means different warden areas-so not easy, manchster wardens are aware, and if handed in to a vet, scanner will be able to contact owners, this will also be the case if he goes into mdh-take it details are up to date?good luck,i live near front entrance and will keep a look out.x

- I've seen the posts on FB, if he went missing near heaton hall, try the hose field behind them, there is a path that runs between. It's where the big tower is. Loads of rabbits (rabbit holes) in the hedges etc between the hall and this field. Ring the animal warden and if no updates on FB or here I will come looking at 1.30 ish
