- Wonderful news. Am elated for owners. How was he found after all this time? I would now have him "Snipped, and Chipped" (I would also keep Tiger indoors now for at least a week or 10 days, or he may go awol again. Stay very close now Tiger:-) :-) -) :-) :-)xxxxx

- The problem is that as Tiger isn`t neutered, he may have gone seeking female to mate with. They can go a long way sometimes for mating. It is best to have your cat neutered really, as then they dont usually go too far from home. A neutered male cat say has a territory of about 4/7 garden spaces as to where he lives. Also it stops them spraying on the furniture helps stop fighting with other cats, and thus no infections from scraps with other felines.
and prevents Feline Aids etc. Also prevents the males from getting ulcers on their testes. And of course stops unwanted kittens too. On the whole neutered cats tend to be more homebound, so it is safer for them. It is a pet owner s choice I now but these are the facts.
Presume all outbuildings checked? Put some tuna in his dish, and call him; night.early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put something with his scent on into a clean container such as his blanket/bedding. along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too. Walk aroiunbd the area holding something with his scent on,. and rattle some treasts such as dreamies. Someone may be feeding him. (Common peoblem) Poster around the area, and oyut "Lost" posters through doors too. Paws xd.
Ps It isn`t saying that he has definitely gone seeking a mate, but it is a possibilityLast edited: 2016-09-13 21:13:41 - 2016-09-13 18:16 Jayne - Founder Doglost.
