  • Other Info Rescue dog. Been with me for a week then placed with family. Family brought him back to me this afternoon. He was very scared. I dropped a bag of dog food and he bolted. We think he jumped out of the garden and could either be in Battle Great Woods on hiding under a bush near the A2100. Although he is chipped this is not activated

Sorry to hear Boris is missing, will share on fb
He may be hiding up as you say in Battle Great Woods or surrounding area. Once he has time to calm down he may try to find his way back home, even tho he has only been with you for a short while.
If possible leave some of his bedding out in back garden so there is a familiar scent if he should try and make his way back home, and if possible ensure he can get back into garden
If you go out to look for him, later this evening or first light in morning when all is quiet, once traffic starts getting busy he will probably hide up again ..
Also if possible, check neighbours gardens, any out buildings, sheds etc near to you in case he is hiding close to home.
Hope he is found very soon
Please inform Dog Warden 01424 490034 if you havent already done
