Hi. There is a dog found on herefordshire council site with similar markings. It does look too old than what I worked out that Boachie would now be and is a very long way away but here is the link incase http://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/environment/animals/29390.aspp Stray dog number 2664. Don't think this is Boachie, as there is no white on chest, but very similar and worth a look - the white might be hidden under his chin. http://www.dogshome.org/rehome/our_dogs/humphrey.htmlLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

hello there, sorry for not updating that day, but i was too upset. I went to check at the nursery first where the dog walked in and i was told that it was not Boachie as I had a Poster with me. I left a poster with the School/Nursery and they said they will keep their eyes open. Yesterday I had another call who saw a dog in his neighbours garden near St.Luke's Park and looking like Boachie, but again false alarm. Hope to find him soon. Why are those people so cruel?? I am sure they saw the posters!!! Hope to keep strong! filoLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I haven't posted for a while but do keep a regular check on Boachie's page and so was pleased to read the latest. Are you able to speak to the person at Forest Gate police station who 'received' this found dog to give you a basic description i.e. breed, sex, colour, approximate age? I know that the police aren't always that great at things like that but surely they hold the basic info on found dogs that are then transferred to Battersea. Did you give them a poster when Boachie went missing? Keeping my fingers crossed that the found dog turns out to be your Boachie.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

hello sorry that i have not been on the page for a while it has been very hard for me lately and my pc was playing up as well and needed checking. Just letting you all know that today I was told by one of the mums at my kids school that, she thinks that is was my dog that walked into a nursery, near where Boachie was seen last, and that he was handed in to Forest Gate Police Station. I called straight and was told that he might have been taken to Battersea Dog Pound, was already closed when I called them so I will go and check that out tomorrow morning. Lets hope that its my Boachie!!!! Will keep you updated!! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Filo, you need to treat the crank calls with a healthy scepticism. I get them evey single day about SISSY, GERRY, PUPPY ONE, PUPPY TWO AND GIRL. They are either sad cases with no lives, vile kids with nothing better to do, or just plain opportunists who will try and get your money. I've lost count of the people who have asked how much the reward is, and they all get told the same "it's a large reward to people who have reliable information". As none of them have reliable information, they soon sod off. I had one tonight - says he bought Bianca (puppy one) for his girlfriend, but she had a black face (eh? not my dog) from a black guy who is his friend but whose name he doesn't know, in a place he can't remember, for ?650 (for a crossbreed? I don't think so....). Will I give him the money back? I offered to come and have a look at the pup, then he offered to send a picture (you're not having my address matey). We left it with him saying he will ring me back tomorrow to arrange a place to meet. It will need to have room for several cars to park dear. Just watch out for the con artists, and don't let them get to you.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I also keep coming back to Boachie's page to check on any progress. He's got to be out there somewhere and I bet he hasn't moved far away. Is Boachie insured? If so, you may be able to claim for the cost of advertising and a reward. A reward just might temp someone to return him to you. Of course mentioning a reward might bring our the nutters but it may be worth it. If you have a large supermarket carpark nearby, place mini-flyers (3 to a page - black and white are okay for this, especially if they are printed on really brightly coloured paper) and place them on all the windscreens. It's really effective cos you cover alot of ground in a relatively small area. It may be that local kids have persuaded Mum that Boachie is a stray and have asked to keep him and so supermarkets are a good place to target. I look forward to seeing Boachie in the Blue very soon. Good Luck!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I keep checking Boachie's page and I really hope you find him soon x Now that the kids are back at school how about leafleting the local schools? Boachie has very distinctive markings someone will know if they see him or not. Good luck xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

talked to the guy this morning and he told me it was definetly a girl and he has given it to someone. Told me that he has a dog himself and could not keep her, so he has given her to someone, not sure to who. Not sure what to do now as I would like to help to find the owner of that dog. I know how I feel since my Boachie is missing and can imagine how they must feel for their dog. Can someone let me know what I should do next with that issue. Have not had a sign of Boachie yet and those people have not called back either. It might have been a prank. But I will not give up on my little baby, just want to find him!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Will try call them in the morning to see whether I can see the dog to make sure its not Boachie. Will also try and take a picture to put it on the dogs found page. Lets see if they will allow me.!! I know its hard but you have to ignore these types of call, had loads myself and i know you just want to hurt these people beyond hurt!!!! You have to try and sort the genuine calls from the crank calls. Dont get into conversation with anyone that calls. If they ask how much the reward is just tell them 'its a substantial amount - Do you have information on the whereabouts of my dog?' Never give an exact figure. If they have the dog then arrange a 'public' place to meet and never go on your own. Call me if you need me xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

sorry could not get online as my computer had a virus. sorted it out and am back online.!!! Had an anonymous call today from the people that have my dog!! They asked for a reward of ?1000.- and I told them that I haven't got that kind of money and they said they understand and told me they will meet me and give me my dog, but while I was on my way there they called again and pretended that Boachie was just run over by a car and I heard some cars beeping. They put on an asian accent and in the background I could hear some young guys laughing. These swines made me still go to meet them and noone was there. have not heard anything from them since then. these swines are from around my area and most probably my Baby is still in the area. Will not give up!! will try and call t-mobile tomorrow to see whether they could give me their number to find out who they are. Hope I will have good luck!! We are getting closer to them. sooon!!! more will follow!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

will go to North Woolich today after I get another cartridge for my printer and print some more posters out before I go there. I think the posters are deliberately taken off and I am suspecting the people who have my dog. The posters I put up in the subway where Boachie was sighted first were taken off. I was told by one of my son's friends yesterday about that, so I will have to put them up there again. Will also print out posters for tintz E15. Also received a message for missing Sophie, and will put posters up for her in the areas I am replacing the taken off posters for Boachie. Updates will follow.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Was told he spotted him round 2 or 3pm but call was around 10pm. Not sure but told my son's friends who live in the area to keep an eye open and put more posters up. Will try and go round there today myself to look out for my baby. Will also leave someone to look out the spot he was seen yesterday. As you can see I am back for my search!!! Fantastic work Filo66. At that rate, it won't be long until the postering works it's magic and that 'little' Boachie is back home with you. Good to hear that the whole family and your children's friends are all doing their bit. Can't wait until we see this cute little boy 'in the Blue' area. went out last night and during the day to plaster my area. We also got some put up in Bow, at the PDSA Clinic. We covered Rathbone Market, down to the McD's, also the kids took some to St.Luke's Park to put some up there. My friend promised to print some out to get them out in the area where he works and we want to cover the surrounding stations for now. I want to get some to the vets as well in case someone takes him to a vet. Letters to some vets are going out in the morning. A young man offered to put some up for me in Upton Park and East Ham, so he is picking up some more today. Let's hope that he will have a hard time to keep my Boachie away from me. He can't hide forever!!! Silvertown and North Woolich are going to get covered tonight. Update later!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Filo, If your kids teenage friends are willing to help in the search, it maybe a good idea to get them to plot up on the street corners around there. Get them to poster while also keeping an eye out for this boy. Make sure they are all in constant mobile contact so if this boy is sighted they can call you. I know that area and the roads are not that long and we are only talking about a small area of coverage. Fords park rd and Fife rd are just around the corner to each other so this kid that was sighted with Boachie probably lives close by. If he was on his own without any friends its even more likely he lives near there cos kids these days dont go out of their 'endz' on their own. I have sent you a pm with my numbers. Call me if you want any advice or help xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I was told by some kids that Boachie was seen with a white young lad who picked him up near the park on Fords Park Road. And our local chippie said he saw the same lad with the pup on Fife Road. It must be a local boy who picked him up and I am hoping that when I put more posters up he will find it hard to hide my BOACHIE!!! I am going to make his life a misery until I get my BOACHIE back!! hi rottiesnstaffs, he went missing on Friday afternoon. I was on my way back from my hospital-appointment and left my children with one of my older son's friends until I get back. When I got back at around 4p.m I noticed that BOACHIE didn't come to greet me as he used to and I asked where he was. They thought he was still sleeping under the chair but he must have slipped out when one of the kids went to play or when one of them come in. I have started to put posters up of my pup the next day. I have started with the local shops and have been talking to a lot of people in my area. Getting some more posters printed tomorrow and will put them up in Canning Town to start with.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What a little cutie. Poster like mad and make Boachie the hottest boy in town! Make sure you visit local pubs at lunchtime or early evening when they are less busy. Speak to the manager and ask him/her to display a poster of Boachie (sadly many dogs like Boachie are traded on via pubs). Take a photo of Boachie into one of those high street printing shops and ask them to reproduce Boachie's photo around 12 to an A4 page (if you're good on the computer, you might be able to do this at home). Write your contact details on the reverse and hand them out to just about everyone you come across, including the pub customers. That way when someone spots Boachie or hears of someone who has recently acquired a similar-looking dog, they will have your contact details to hand rather than having to return to a poster. Put a poster in your car and ask family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues to do the same. Hope it won't be too long until this gorgeous is back home with his family.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Boachie is a lovely puppy, who loved running around with his little brother Tyson(MinnieMe) and sister Lefteye. He also loved playing and joking about with our cat Tigger. He is friendly to everybody he meets and wants to kiss everyone straight away. His paws are not alike, one has got some white in it and his bellybutton is sticking out a bit.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As soon as Admin receives a photograph, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Boachie well. Stay safe Boache until you are found xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
