- I am so so pleased for their owner and really hope that little Alfie can be found soon.Surely he'll be somewhere near?
I kept dropping in here hoping for news. This is wonderful xx - 2017-01-12 11:42 Karen
- Tess and Ellie have been found. The Nottingham dog warden called the owner this morning. A local lady found them 'dumped'. Alfie is still missing.
- 2016-11-03 13:55 Karen
- The phone number 'Jessica' (the fosterer) gave to the owner has been traced back to account on WhatsApp. Alfie's owner has seen an image and confirmed this is not the lady who took her dogs. Mobile providers do reuse numbers so the only way to try and trace this lady now is via Gumtree as already advised by CJ. As far as I am aware the owner is on with this.
Owner is now out of hospital. Microchip is up to date and dogs are flagged as missing with database. Microchip details sent to CJ by Chops Owen. - 2016-10-27 17:27 Baydogs

**** UPDATE ****
Denise is in a really bad way. She's stopped eating and is refusing fluids. The crisis team are on their way. We have suggested they now go to a and e.
This is the saddest case we have been involved in.
I don't know what to say. I can't force people to come forward regarding these dogs but please, if you know anything, just message me. Just tell us they're ok. Please 😠xx
3 MISSING YORKIES – APPEAL FROM THE HEART
On the 4th August 2016 Denise’s world was turned upside down. She had recently moved from Leicester to the St Ann’s area of Nottingham, NG3 to stay with a family member. Things had not been working out and she was told to leave immediately. Denise was already suffering from clinical depression and knew she had nowhere to go, let alone with her 3 beloved dogs whom she had had since they were puppies.
In desperation, she posted on Facebook asking if friends could help find someone to have her babies. She also placed an ad on Gumtree. A lady called Jessica contacted Denise via Gumtree and they arranged to meet by Aldi, Huntingdon Street, Nottingham, NG1.
Jessica arrived with two young children, both boys (one was in a pushchair) and her boyfriend. Denise was understandably in a state and explained the situation to Jessica who offered to just look after the dogs until Denise had somewhere to stay and was better.
Telephone numbers were exchanged. Denise was in a mess and tried to contact Jessica whose number was dead. It could be that Denise took the number wrong. Denise immediately posted on FB and was contacted by people wanting to help. She said the dogs had gone missing as she feared she would not get help if she said about Gumtree.
Please remember Denise was unwell. She still is and has been in hospital for over two months. She has had people trying to help but this lady is as low as anyone can go. We have tried to protect Denise and kept some of this information private until today.
Denise received a hoax call from another ‘group’ (no name given) who said they had her dogs and they would be returned. They left a number which was dead.
Denise just wants to know her dogs are safe. She has not eaten for over a week and the crisis team have been called. I am appealing for all groups to work together, get this shared and let’s give this lady the peace she desperately needs before she can become to recover.
She had these dogs for over 11 years, she was and still is very ill. Please call anonymously, message, anything.
When you share, please make sure all the pictures and wording is also shared x
