- Such wonderful news - what would we do without our 'dog rescuers' in the UK?
I am so darn proud of each & every one of you - from the 'finders' to the 'call takers' right through the dedicated rescue centre staff & all the individuals who muck in along the way.
You are the BEST of British.
God Bless you - each & every one.
Xxx
When will we be able to warn pet owners, like this poor family, that they live in a
'RED ZONE' post code when it comes to dog theft??
Dont pet owners deserve to know the truth? Owners that I've spoken to - ones that thankfully have been reunited with their dogs - have told me over & over that they had 'no idea' that dogs had been vanishing regularly from their own area for YEARS.
Is it a legal issue?
It's not like we are pointing a finger at any one person - just the location.
If doglost is bound by some legal issue - would a member of the public be free to do it? Say - a full page in a national newspaper - listing all the RED ZONES in the U.K.
We all know the pain & anguish attached to dog theft - why aren't we allowed to share what we know with the public so they, at least, have a chance to prevent a theft.
Respectfully Yours

- Has the owner looked or been made aware of the elderly Yorkie found yesterday on Facebook page 'Tilly's angels' ?? Due to length of time Missing his hair would have grown, he/she badly matted and elderly so worth looking. Dog is currently at vets4pets Rayleigh. I know it's not local but if dumped Alfie could be anyway.

- Have just emailed Admin to see if Alfie could be bumped due to the circumstances. I could have sworn he was bumped yesterday but seems to have dropped back to his previous position overnight. If he has also been dumped this little dog needs finding ASAP. He is small, lost, without the company of the girls, and it is cold out there.

- Alfie is still missing. The girls were found yesterday. Please keep sharing.

- Would it be a good idea to change the wording on the poster now, put lots of posters up in the area that the girls were found and have fresh shares and tweets...or is this already being done?
Surely Alfie must be somewhere nearby that area....? - 2017-01-12 11:43 Karen
- Tess and Ellie have been found. The Nottingham dog warden called the owner this morning. A local lady found them 'dumped'. Alfie is still missing.

- could these 2 that have been found be any of the missing?

- The phone number 'Jessica' (the fosterer) gave to the owner has been traced back to account on WhatsApp. Alfie's owner has seen an image and confirmed this is not the lady who took her dogs. Mobile providers do reuse numbers so the only way to try and trace this lady now is via Gumtree as already advised by CJ. As far as I am aware the owner is on with this.
- 2016-11-03 13:07 Chops
- Hey it's Chops. I have sent the link you added to the owner. Thanks BayDogs.
CJ - I think there is still a lot unknown to be fair. The owner is still trying to get the original post details from Scumtree. CJ I will text you the microchip numbers now. x Thank you - 2016-11-03 12:37 Baydogs
- Please look at this dog. Says microchip details not up to date.

- Thanks CJ. I thought that CRN was unlike any other I had seen but transferred it from the Thunderclap details. Thank you for your efforts here. It is indeed a very sad case and I hope the whereabouts of these little ones can be discovered for the owner.
- 2016-10-31 10:37 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
- Sorry but this is not a CRN. its a first report incident number- I have spoken to Police and until they get more evidence the case is not becoming a crime.
This is a very sad case but in order for police action need much more evidence or proof.
Was anything in writing when this person took the dogs. Can anyone helping please gather as much information you can find. the advert on gumtree -
Was there a written or verbal agreement and if so what was stated. Was there any indication of time? Did they get any from of details of this person- name address phone number.
Do not put this on any FB or here but send to doglost- investigations@doglost.co.uk
The first step is to track down this person. `Please check for sale ads in case made a quick profit trying to sell them on.
I also notice that we do not have the microchip numbers. Please can this be updated and If owner not able to report i can do it as doglost. They need to be aware that the owners details of these dogs cannot be changed. - 2016-10-31 08:38 Baydogs
- ADMIN the CRN for these dogs is-

- Hi Karen. This is so sad.
Do you know if the contact numbers on the poster go to the owner or someone else? Because if she has been hospitalised then she may not be able to answer....or indeed deal with any crazy hoax calls that might occur....
I really hope we find these babies.

- Hi Baydogs,
copied this from Facebook.

**** UPDATE ****
Denise is in a really bad way. She's stopped eating and is refusing fluids. The crisis team are on their way. We have suggested they now go to a and e.
This is the saddest case we have been involved in.
I don't know what to say. I can't force people to come forward regarding these dogs but please, if you know anything, just message me. Just tell us they're ok. Please 😠xx
3 MISSING YORKIES – APPEAL FROM THE HEART
On the 4th August 2016 Denise’s world was turned upside down. She had recently moved from Leicester to the St Ann’s area of Nottingham, NG3 to stay with a family member. Things had not been working out and she was told to leave immediately. Denise was already suffering from clinical depression and knew she had nowhere to go, let alone with her 3 beloved dogs whom she had had since they were puppies.
In desperation, she posted on Facebook asking if friends could help find someone to have her babies. She also placed an ad on Gumtree. A lady called Jessica contacted Denise via Gumtree and they arranged to meet by Aldi, Huntingdon Street, Nottingham, NG1.
Jessica arrived with two young children, both boys (one was in a pushchair) and her boyfriend. Denise was understandably in a state and explained the situation to Jessica who offered to just look after the dogs until Denise had somewhere to stay and was better.
Telephone numbers were exchanged. Denise was in a mess and tried to contact Jessica whose number was dead. It could be that Denise took the number wrong. Denise immediately posted on FB and was contacted by people wanting to help. She said the dogs had gone missing as she feared she would not get help if she said about Gumtree.
Please remember Denise was unwell. She still is and has been in hospital for over two months. She has had people trying to help but this lady is as low as anyone can go. We have tried to protect Denise and kept some of this information private until today.
Denise received a hoax call from another ‘group’ (no name given) who said they had her dogs and they would be returned. They left a number which was dead.
Denise just wants to know her dogs are safe. She has not eaten for over a week and the crisis team have been called. I am appealing for all groups to work together, get this shared and let’s give this lady the peace she desperately needs before she can become to recover.
She had these dogs for over 11 years, she was and still is very ill. Please call anonymously, message, anything.
When you share, please make sure all the pictures and wording is also shared x
