Hiya I am still looking but have no news to report at all. Sorry it wasn't him down the Northway but it would have taken him a heck of a journey if it had been. Have you asked at Robert Street school it may be worth a shot.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The other dog looked a little like dior but only cause it was a pup. its ears and tail were like dior but not the rest of it. without being horrible it was an elderly area and half the residents could not see the flyer never mind a little dog 10 yards away but still def worth a go! Not sure what else to do now.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Did the dog you found look like Dior-do you think the sightings were of the other dog or is this just co-incidence?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

louisndior excellent work in cathing the loose dog, if you see Dior that is exactly how will need to act with her if she has been living in the rough. Jan xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spent all morning saturday flyering and knocking doors around the woodland and speaking to all the nieghbours. Everybody we spoke to had seen a little dog over the last 2 weeks just running around It seems it had become a bit of a dog celebrity, people had tried to catch it but with no success. had no luck finding the dog and gave everybody our numbers and pictures of dior so they could call back if they saw the dog again. Had a call on sunday and shot straight down there. unfortunatly the dog wasnt dior. Gutted. Spent an hour or so sitting on the floor with our other dog louis and eventually the dog approached us. I managed to talk him into the car and he is now at sunnyside kennels. He seemed to be in good condition apart from bit shakey and really bad teeth. very very cute though. was only a baby too. Cant believe he has been living rough for 2 weeks and nobody took the time to catch him. And I hate to think somebody could dump a puppy, possibly because of bad teeth. Still flyering for Dior though. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

louisndior brilliant that you have had a sighting. You need to go out as early as possible (first sunlight) when it is much quieter. Mark any sightings on a map and keep a record. Dior maybe hiding in the woodland. If you do sight her do not expect her to run up to you as she may be bewildered and not recognise you, so take a very gentle approach. You are doing the right thing in postering the area. Good luck and hope she is home soon. Jan xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I had my first phone call regarding Dior tonight. I have flyered all the local shops and supermarkets pubs etc and tonight it has paid off. a Lady called to say she saw a dog with Diors description yesterday and her husband saw her today at the entrance to a woodland on swallowcroft rd off the Northway in sedgely just running loose. I had the call at 9pm tonight and drove straight down. The woodland is very think and it was very dark and a big woodlaand and quite scary on my own so just shouted her name lots. i plan 2 go back first thing and flyer in that area and knock on all the doors round there. i have called the police and useless as ever. any body have any ideas? xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

thank you for your help mystickkitten. I wish I had found this website earlier but put Diors details on the day I found it. I have spent the last 2 days walking the streets looking and putting flyers in all the local businesses and shops. I have also put an add in the dudley news that will go in today so hopefully will get some news. Thank you so much for taking the time out. I have only lived in the area for 6 weeks so I dont know anybody so having you asking around is a great help. xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi I have contacted everyone I can think of and no one has seen a dog of Dior's description or heard anything in the local pubs. Its a shame we didn't know earlier because a lot of people have said that they just can't remember noticing a dog in passing over two weeks ago, which is fair enough. I will continue to have a look and to ask around, it was too wet the other day to put up posters and I have been unable to do it today but I will try to get out tomorrow. All is not lost if we work together but I do not think that she has been around Gornal for some time because I think someone would have seen her and I have asked quite a few people, although she is small enough to get trapped in a shed and if someone is on holiday they wont see her, try shouting her name and listening for what comes back.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, I have been in contact with everyone I know who lives in close proximity to you but no one has seen Dior. I have a friend who is house sitting in Richborough Dr down the bottom and he is keeping an eye open too. Have you thought about the building work that is going on behind the computeach that is leading right up to Richborough. They are doing lots of execavations at the mo for the new houses, she may have got into trouble over there, the workmen can be reached at the Jews Lane entrance. Just a thought but you never know. I have only got a black and white printer but I will take some posters out tomorrow. Chihuahua Girl where will you be posting so we dont flood only one area?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hiya I will have a look and I will also ask my mother in law because she lives opposite the green dragon. Have you asked the builders working on Taylors Place because if she went that way they may have seen her. Are you at the top of Richborough or the bottom as I have friends in Charlecote and she may have gone that way instead onto the other estate, I will ask if they have seen anything. Put a poster in the Co-op in case she has gone that way and I will also ask my sister in law in Foxglove over the dual carriage way in case someone took her over there. Hope she turns up.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner - please get on to your local paper, tell them your dog was stolen from your back garden and you blame people like paris hilton, chantelle from big brother and nicole richie, who have made this breed so popular and desirable they are now being stolen to order by offenders who know there are people prepared to pay cash and ask no questions for the chance to own such a "status" symbol dog. Dior also looks just like the one Paris HIlton was with in the paper yesterday, Good luck and send me a pm if you have problems and we will try and work something out.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Dior well. Stay safe baby, until you are found xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
