- There is a dog that looks very similar to this wandering round as a stray in Blackwood forest, hampshire. I have a picture. Very timid with people but friendly with other dogs. No-one has managed to catch it yet, dog wardens informed etc.

- Was approached by someone last week looking for behaviour advice for a very similar looking saluki bitch. She was very very nervous and I wasn't able to thoroughly scan her for a chip. The owner was reluctant about letting me do this and would not agree to having the dog chipped. She claims to have bought the dog off gumtree 11 months ago and it was driven up to Edinburgh from the South of England. That is all she could tell me. The dog is very anxious and apparently also reactive to other dogs.

- Long shot, but a similar looking dog has been found in someones garden in Brewood, Staffordshire (ST19)- finder does say 'Her name is Sally and current information says she is originally from...... Kent. Had several owners'
Taken by dog warden to Sunnyside Kennels, Coven (Part of Birmingham Dogs Home)
Worth the owners checking I think.

- Sighted dog discussed below now on Doglost 108553. From latest pics, Lady's owners think it's possibly not her.

- Could found (sighted) 108553 be Lady?

- Hollieberry, the people who work at the pub are keeping an eye out for her (could be him) and did leave some food, but she's not been back. Seen again day before yesterday, but in a different area :( Hoping for more sightings. Lots of locals looking out for the dog.

- Is anyone trying to help the dog that has been sighted curled up on the leaves ? is someone still putting food down for her ?
- 2016-12-08 19:33 csquaredb
- I asked someone who saw the dog fairly close at the pub on Monday if the dog could be Lady: Colour is same and had a light brown collar. Ears didn't look so fluffy as that but it was very frosty and damp on Monday.

- More sightings of the saluki round Harmansworth yesterday, but no more pictures as yet to compare against. All the sightings are on the FB thread I posted on the 5th. The only photo there is very grainy and is of the dog curled up on a pile of leaves, so it's not possible to see the dogs feathering. Lady's owner has seen the pic and has said it could possibly be Lady. Fingers crossedLast edited: 2016-12-08 10:28:02 by csquaredb

- I have posted Lady's link on the FB page and asked people that have seen this dog if it could be her. Just had this response: When I was up close to her she looks like this dog. Same collar too
- 2016-12-05 16:08 csquaredb
- From the OP, dog is definitely saluki and is female. Wearing a brown collar. Was Lady wearing a collar when she went missing? Someone has been trying to lure her all morning, but the dog vanished when the lady went to get more food. Hopefully she will return later when quieter. Food and water left for her.

- Have just seen on Streetlife website that someone spotted what appeared to be a lost dog wandering in Laleham Road, Staines yesterday. Only description given was a "wolf type dog" no other details given. I have messaged the person asking for more details - colour of dog etc, in case it could be this dog

- Sorry to see that LADY is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (105018)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
- Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
- DogLost is free and anyone asking for money to find or return your dog is not volunteering for us. If you are concerned about an approach you have received, please email admin@doglost.co.uk
