- Thanks Baydogs. He probably does know what happened to Lady, but isn`t saying. If he had friends before, I will be suprized if he has any now. Good he has been named, and shamed. After lockibng him up they should have thrown the key away.Last edited: 2017-06-02 11:15:25

- Pleased to see he has been named shamed and sentenced but consider it far too lenient.

- Is Lady now reunited with her owner?
- 2017-06-01 13:04 Unknown
- So pkleased this low life has got a prison sentence, but I think it is too lenient for what he allegeldy done to the dog.
I think twelve months at least would hav been more fitting for this vile individual. Pleased his photo is in the media though Last edited: 2017-06-01 13:13:36 - 2017-05-31 17:16 NickyB
- brilliant getting 6 months sentence and his photo in the media - but apart from stealing this dear little old jack russell and allegedly dumping her in the park was she ever found? i will never understand why he would want to harm this little old dog - heaven help anyyone who knows him or any animal he has. evil comes in so many forms -

- Officer dealing is not on duty till the weekend but i will make contact to see if can get more clarification as to what has been said from the perpetrator- so at least can know if looking for an injured dog or what and maybe where as Toys hill is a wooded area but there is a car park half way up before you start the woodland paths and walks.

- Are there any dogs trained to search an area for a scent that could help?
- 2016-09-27 18:37 Millys Mum
- There is a dog friendly pub in Toys Hill called the Fox and Hounds. It's certainly worth giving them a call as used by locals. Also I know that an employee rides a horse in the area. Their number is 01732 750 328. There are also a couple of pubs in nearby Brasted (just 2 miles down the hill): Stanhope Arms and White Hart. Also the NT's Emmetts Garden and Chartwell are not far away as the crow flies. It's a very large wooded area and so easy for a frightened little dog to be hiding away. But, on a positive note, it's a area frequented by families and/or dogwalkers.
- 2016-09-27 16:06 NickyB
- just had confirmation police have searched house car garden. i am very glad the police are being so helpful
- 2016-09-27 14:59 Mallory'smum
- NickyB was thinking exactly the same myself....or maybe by park he meant car park or any bit of green?
- 2016-09-27 14:56 NickyB
- the burglar allegedly said he left Lady in a park in toys hill - just thinking whether there is any truth in this - would a burglar go to a park to drop off a dog.........i would be more inclined to search his car, his home, his garden........
- 2016-09-27 10:47 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
- I have sent an urgent email to national trust asking the Warden that covers this area is made aware of this story and asked any one who works in area also made aware.
- 2016-09-27 09:28 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
- In contact with police regarding this also i have asked local dogwarden re area. Toys Hill is more a woodland area than a park. Once you have climbed the hill there is a car park so i would recon the best areas to start are here. Its National Trust area and people visit for the view points. Many walkers and dog walkers so if any one lives close maybe would put a poster up - NOT on a tree but maybe a fence close to car park areas?

- "RSPCA are aware and looking into this. police would have contacted RSPCA, and police should have kept man in their custody until interviewed by RSPCA, who would demanded he show them where the dog is." - this is mssg given to me by someone who works for RSPCA. Lady is old blind deaf and possibly injured - missing now for 6 days - i do hope there are people searching for her - and she is found alive and well.

- Had a thought that Paul Ogrady is now living in Kent with his love of dogs wondered if he would support in any way possible the fact that a Kent dog is missing and the cercunstances of her being missing
- 2016-09-25 17:04 NickyB
- kayley i am going to google to find your local police and ask them to be more proactive, and have txt someone who works for rspca to see what they can do to get police more active. if you know Lady is in park in Toys Hill hope you have people helping you search.she was attacked on 21st septmber now 25th so urgency needed.if i get anything helpful i will phone/txt your mobiles
- 2016-09-25 16:25 Sandra Watt
- Absolutely shocking - can't even call these people animals cos animals are trusting and caring. I am sure the owners are still in shock wanting to find their little baby, could they contact the RSPCA and have this man charged with animal cruelty - the Police obviously know who he is. I really feel for this family and hope they can find the little dog soon.
- 2016-09-25 15:51 Mel
- Why would they let this "person" go if they knew what he had done, surely they should have detained him until he had shown them where this poor dog is. Why would anybody do this? Its beyond all comprehension. Lost for words and very sad x
- 2016-09-25 15:22 NickyB
- this has made my blood boil - what on earth can i do so far away that could help? could DOGLOST.CO.UK get their wonderful pr people contacting local press and local tv to get a search organised, and the doglost.co.uk police co-ordinators to possibly get more info?the thought of this old blind and now severely injured little jack russell out there somewhere in desperate need of an angel is heartbreaking

- Thanks PAW. A very good point was made on your FB page about this, regarding people and their dogs who may go to help look for Lady.
" PLEASE NOTE - AWARENESS IS THE KEY - concerns have been raised ..... please be careful and watchful of your own dogs if taken them out to search - just in case anything MAY have been left behind by this individual that may harm your own dog ..... more erring on the side of caution than any facts" - 2016-09-25 13:00 PAW
