Info commented on Doglost West Sussex fb group from Carla to say there has been a sighting of liver and white springer plus choc cocker by the canal, by the Pallingham keeper. Afraid I don't have any contact details. Just asked if this is anything to do with Pallingham Lock farm x
Jack
Messaged Farthings vets too as they are in Billingshurst as well as Horsham. Also shared to 'Horsham and surrounding area animals lost and found'plus'Pets lost and found West Sussex', both are facebook groups. Having looked at map for wider area, might be worth contacting Brinsbury campus and Architectural Plants, plus the Stopham Estate so gamekeeper can look out if they may have gone that direction? xLast edited: 2016-09-25 18:44:50 by Jack

Thank you Jack you are a star have they wandered off before Di? Do they know the area well from where they have gone missing? Please also make any farmers aware that are missing as then they will know they are being looked for
Come on Alfred and Poppy hurry home darlings
Jack
I've shared to Arun vets and Crossways on facebook. Arun have already shared for you. I've messaged 2 local dog walkers in the area. I believe one of these have set up a doggy day care facility in Pickhurst Lane (Emma's doggy day care) and the other is based nearby (Jo, She's got paws). Are you local yoursel? I would suggest posters at Sainsbury's and Tescos, perhaps the petrol stations on the A29. Being springers, I would imagine the pheasants are the attraction. Have also shared on my facebook page and on a spaniel facebook group I'm on. Hope you have good news soon x
Di
It's a bit worrying if they run into the phesent copse! It's worrying that they have been missing for 24 hours now, but thanks for your help Jack x
Jack
Hi Di,
I know that area, we often walk from Toat Lane out Pallingham Quay way. Recently there were a huge number of young pheasants just released so I have avoided since. I will share to 2 local vets (Arun and Crossways) which are Storrington, Pulborough based. I will try to let a few local dog walkers know x
Di
Poppy and Alfred went missing from Toat Lane. They could have tracked across the fields to Blackgate Lane. Thanks x

I have sent advise sheets ect ask the nursery to display a poster as well they are extremely helpful people in there forgot that in my email to you

Can we have a few more details please on how and where they went missing? as Stopham Bridge is closed as I found out yesterday so it is a long detour from the Petworth end round to Pulborough at the moment

Please stay safe AlfredLast edited: 2016-09-25 14:35:02

Hi, sorry to see Poppy and Alfred are missing. I live in RH20. Could you let us know whereabouts they went missing? Is this their local area, home or normal walk? Hoping they are soon home safe. The local kennels to check are either Hammerpond or Old Clayton. Worth sharing to local vets and dog walkers too. Let me know if you'd like some help with that x
