Hi Goldies mum have you had a look at 'Purdy' black + white pied staff last sightings Battersea....the owner lives miles away but he is emailing the local PCSO's...Police Community Support Officers....I put all the phone nos on his thread.....have a look......... you could send your poster or ring them if you have an idea where she is. Also it is worth writing/emailing your Member of Parliament + tell them your distress at having your dog stolen...... that it is a big problem in your area....they might be able to suggest a few things....make enquiries......they dont know unless we tell them. the computer is a great tool ......I'm at uni as well + I'm still learning what can be done via the internet. Good Luck. Goldie stay safe + get scanned soon xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Everyone, I spoke to Jan this evening regarding the found Staffordshire Bull Terrier VR4349. I cannot be absolutely certain from the picture wether this is Goldie as pictures can be misguiding, so I will need to check this out in person. This dog certainly has the features of Goldie, albeit Goldie is golden blone in colour. I have not given up the fight to find her, and I am so glad that other people are still looking out for her. My one regret is that i cannot get out everyday to look for her, wich has been getting me down of late so i am feeling positive again for the new information. Thank you once again for the well wishes and even to those people who just glance at the page. There have been a lot of stong sightings in the Clapham Park/ Common and Kings Avenue areas From a couple of people who have even seen me with Goldie previously. I myself have gone to look but not consistently, this is due to University and work commitments. Therefore, I urge anyone with some free time, or even an hour to spare to help out postering or just having a look if they can. I am willing to pay for travel fees, poster printouts and general labour. I love and miss Goldie greatly, and wish i could dedicate 24 hours a day to finding her as i know she would be home by now. Please if you can help out, blog on the site or contact me on my telephone number on the posters. Many thanks once again to everyone Tori07 xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Lee Lee that sounds really positive, Could you put some posters up please. This will attract other people if it is her and a profile can than be established. At the moment I have been circulating quite a few areas based on sightings. There just isn't enough hours in the day to check every area in time but hopefully with more people being attracted by posters at least I will begin to determine areas of particular sightings. Thank you everyone who has hoped and prayed for Goldie's return home. Thank you also for those on the sightings patrol, and just those people who take the time to have a look at Goldie's profile. You've all kept me determined to find her! Tori xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I saw a gold coloured dog in Acton (W3) today about midday, it looked just like Goldie, the young man that had the dog came out of Acacia Rd & turned right onto Horn Lane towards a small parade of shops, i don't know if it was a bitch though, it was the unusual gold colour that caught my eye, i won't put up posters incase its her & they move her, but maybe owners might like to come over to Acton and see if they can spot the dog, if you would like posters to be put up let me know & i'll do it. If there is a pattern to where the posters are being set alight and its a regular area, then go door to door with leaflet size posters in the letterboxes. It may bring about a kind neighbour whos seen a new dog appear.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks again guys for all your support and advice. I have been keeping a log of all the sightings. However, once again Goldie's posters are being set a light, and ripped down from the Clapham area. It goes beyond the Common! I definately know she is in the area anyone who is about please help me to keep the posters circulating in that area in particular. I have been speaking to locals and handing the posters out to local residents. Will be back out later to do some more. Riverlady thanks for your help you've been great so far in getting the posters out, people have been responding positively. Thanks Paula for your help also, and Sue I will get back in touch with Clapham park rangers. Tori xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have you been in touch with rangers for both Clapham and Putney Common (Wimbledon rangers do both put. and wim.)? Do check the posters being removed aren't on trees on the common and the rangers removing them. Try and stick to BT poles and the like. Try and keep a record of sightings and times of them, it may bring about a regular picture / map. Julie great you are able to help owner, you have been there recently and able to advise most prominent places to poster. Hope Regan & Dolly are over their experience now. Many more sightings coming in and the police have been helpful so far. I will keep these things in mind. Thanks Keelah.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

keep up the postering and also ring the local paper Tori07 ask to speak to a reporter and get them to run a story on the newspages. give us a bell if you need a hand on 07843 681980, Also, please remember that while she may have been stolen, there is a chance the posteirng has led to her being set free due to her being too hot to handle so do not rule anything out and treat each sighting and call as her until you can prove otherwise. sianxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There has been two possible sightings of Goldie on Putney Common and one in Battersea park. However, each time the dog in question seems to be ownerless. I would like to stress that Goldie was STOLEN!!! and her posters are being RIPPED down from the Clapham area. This is not happening in other areas thus, this has led me to believe that Goldie is in, or around the Clapham area. PLEASE, PLEASE keep your eyes peeled as the thief is trying to severe any links to finding Goldie. Don't let him/her win. We will get you home soon Gold'sLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you soo much to everyone who has offered me support and advice at this difficult time. Thank you also to all the people who has phoned about possible sightings. The support and kind words has kept me strong. I have faith that Goldie will come home soon, so please all continue to be on the look out. The local communities are starting to take notice as are the police, which is of course good! So as long as you guys don't give up, I will keep on going too. Please be safe Goldie and come home soon. We all love and miss you xxx.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Job centres, post Offices, record shops, sports and trainers shops or nearby, youth clubs or anywhere youths go to , it will be someone young, fit and able to climb a 6' fence then carry a dog back over??? Someone might have seen something? Then its estates but ones with maisonettes mainly as they have small back gardens, on estates I find the rubbish areas, BT boxes, Bus stops, phone boxes, if you can hunt the caretakers. And then the community coppers. A lot of familys have staffs and bulls and adore them. A new staff will be noticed. Stay safe Goldie, those beautiful green eyes will get her noticed as well . Stay strong.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Any sign of this photo admin? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
Yasa
As soon as Admin receives a photograph, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Goldie well. Stay safe Goldie until you are found x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
