There is a found lurcher No. 19007 in E Anglia which is worth checking but her nose may not be as white as Jet's.

For those of you who missed this you can watch it on BBC news website. Just search "dog theft". Great bit of publicity and will make owners more aware of the danger of letting dogs roam.

Sorry guys, the dog shown on the Hula website was rehomed in May this year, so there is no chance of her being Jet.....albeit she is her double! Owner relays their thanks to everyone.

Have recently received an email from freecycle offering a lurcher pup which is stated to be 12 weeks old approx. Alarms bells ring as the persons email address gives me cause for concern (sorryI am a sceptic) as it relates to a certain type of person we now seem to associate with dog theft. Have asked for details of the dog, as though an interested party for owning it. This is in Bedfordshire and may be a long shot but who knows, will update if anything definite comes to light. Hope you find dogs soon.

Owners have called, they have looked at the photo on Hula, they have said that the dog at Hula is the double of Jet. They are making enquiries now and will let us know as soon as they have info.

Still no news of Jet.Police have now closed the case and have not got enough evidence to charge anyone with stealing or receiving. We think if she is still alive she is either being held in Headcorn or Greenhithe. As Ian and i work around these areas we are still looking all the time. Both pups that were returned to us now have been found fantastic new owners and Sam & Rose are both doing fine. Thanks for all your help. Rita/Ian

So sorry Jet & (her?) pups are still not home. I'm off to Kent/E Sussex in a few wks & will take posters to put up everywhere. Can someone give a bit more info? This is confusing - it looks as if 4 pups are still missing? Is this anything to do with the other 2 grey lurchers (no names) taken in Sutton Valence a little earlier & handed in at Dartford or Dartmouth?? Anyway, someone's been busy. Someone who shouldn't have been. I know what this area is like. Glad the police are onto Jet's case. Hurry home safely, Jet. xxx

Yasa - I have already printed out 200 A4 size posters of Jet to give out at K9 Capers, Gemini Kennels on sunday that i was going to give out on the stall that Katie and i are doing, so if you like, you can take a lot of those too to give out and leave a few on the stall. I was going to ask people to put a poster in their cars and if they could also display one somewhere else so we can cover as much area as possible. See you then!! xx

I have put these photos side by side and there is a fair bit of difference in the white marking on chest. Jets spreads near the legs, where as the dog at Many Tears has a circular patch near legs.

Can someone please take a look at "Alabama" on the Many Tears Rescue Site. She was recovered from a desperate situation and is thought to be Mum to at least some of the 8 pups that were found with her! She does look very similar but it is hard to say whether it is the same dog. I can't give you the link (work comp), but google Many Tears Rescue.

One of the missing dogs has just been picked up in Dartford. Owner has just phoned me to say he is on the way to get Burberry Rose the grey hound. ( Dog ID=10518). we are now also emailing helpers in this area to get posters up of the other 8 stolen dogs. CJ

As soon as Admin receives a photograph, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Jet well. Stay safe Jet, until you are found x
