- This dog has now been collected by rspca and is now with them and I am told he will be rehomed due to his lovely placid nature after vet treatment. I hope this will be the case. Good luck lovely boy.

- This dog is now safe in kennels at least. Does have quite a few visitors on him though and obviously will be treated! If no owner comes forward he will be rehomed. Thank you all for your helpLast edited: 2016-10-03 17:04:52 by ClaireC

- It would appear that this dog has now been caught by someone yesterday in the next village. Will be taken to vet tomorrow (Mon) to check for a chip. When I know more I will update.Last edited: 2016-10-03 06:30:54 by ClaireC

- Recvd telephone call to say there have been no further sightings of this dog since Fri. It may or may not have moved on. If anybody sees him please give location and time. In meantime i will try to stop our "man" travelling the long distance. Thank you.Last edited: 2016-10-02 16:47:32 by ClaireC

- Have now spoken to Jane from the farm who has now given permission for us to go on her land and contact details. Plan in hand is for all folk to stop feeding this dog aim is for him to go to one place only for food which Jane has very kindly offered to do. Please please folk, help us to help him!

- This dog is male and looking at fotos does not look as though has been straying for too long even though has a leg injury! Will update when we have spoken to farmer. Would like to reiterate again to please not to chase dog away by too many people with the best intentions!Last edited: 2016-09-30 10:06:36 by ClaireC

- Please well meaning folk let us,doglost, get this dog to safety! If attempts are made by unskilled people and you fail the dog will move away from area! On the other hand, if you catch the dog, it will need vet treatment and if no chip will be passed.onto dog warden where it will serve its 7 days! What then....! With our man it stands a greater chance of a second life if no chip is present!

- i have more pictures of the dog how do I add them

- Cassiehagger please please can you ask well meaning folk to possibly slip back a bit rather than go straight in and attempt to catch! This dog is now in feral.mode and will just go. If the same person who has been feeding dog can continue to do so tbat would be very helpful. I would doubt though that.the dog will go into a van though. I can (when Ive made a telephone call) get our man, who has offered his services and aware) to get there asap.

- Two further friends have gone to location and spotted again they have taken a camera and hopefully got some better pictur

- Another friend just passed location on way home and she has had another sighting of it in same place as yesterday. Its ran off into the wooded area appears it maybe sleeping there
- 2016-09-30 03:47 ***Cassie***
- My friend Nikki Emson had sight of this dog yesterday about 4pm. Went down low etc to see if it would approach her but it ran off whilst keeping eye on her. Tried following from a distance but lost sight of it. This was all before we knew a team was on standby. She also spoke to the local farmer who has been feeding it and the farmer was going to see if she cud tempt it in her van today.

- Happy to assist with search in whatever way I can, quite local.
- 2016-09-29 18:15 Pippilotta
- Claire, thanks for that. If it has full pricked ears, it is certainly not Pippi and I did think the coat was differnt, but you never know from a photo.
Simbarose, so sorry to hear that. I do hope that one day you will be reunited and that Jazzy at least has a good life, wherever she is now. x - 2016-09-29 18:00 ClaireC
- I have asked poster of this sighted dog to look at your lost one Pippilotta and her response is as follows:
Had a look at the one that's lost, definitely not that one, the one I saw has full pricked ears and a reddy gold coat all over. Looks to be a long coated bull lurcher type.
Sorry to disappoint but didnt want you to travel a long way. If and when this dog is caught, and if by us, it will certainly be.checked for a chip and a better photo added. Last edited: 2016-09-29 18:01:24 by ClaireC - 2016-09-29 15:34 Simbarose
- A big THANK YOU to all Dog Lost volunteers and any who follow, share, tweet, facebook. I appreciate you all it is a great comfort to know we not alone or forgoten

- One day Simbarose and Pippilotta. We never give up and your followers dont as proven by lots of dogs being found, sometimes years later although we would much prefer it not to be!
- 2016-09-29 14:14 Simbarose
- PIppilotta. Sadly Jazz is still missing we believe she was stolen to order as her Kennel could not be seen from the lane. I will always look for her someone has her I can only hope she is safe and well. It only takes that one person to do the right thing that gets her home to us. I follow Cocker spaniels and dogs missing in my area on this site an am happy to help share and encourage others as this helps me too
- 2016-09-29 13:14 Pippilotta
- simbarose, did you get your Jazz back? I sincerely hope so. I know the volunteers here are brilliant and there has been so much genuine care for my case, despite all the other dogs missing and other being found. I try to be strong, not easy. Thanks for your support. x
- 2016-09-29 12:19 Simbarose
- Pipilotta. I do know what you are going through my own girl Jazz was taken from me six month ago. Every photo you see that looks like Pippi you want it to be yours. Its easy to say but be strong, calm and patient. Dog lost volunteers are brilliant at what they do. Lets hope the trap works soon and you get the news you are hoping for.

- Simbarose, I don't have an iPad nor Photoshop. Have tried to enlarge in another programme, but it just made it pixelated. I shall have to wait if there is news from the feeding station. Good luck!
- 2016-09-29 09:28 ClaireC
- Latest update from poster who states that a feeding station has been set up which is keeping this dog in the area. I am waiting for further info and then confident that we will be able to get a trap in the feeding area by our man. Please dont rush to area as this would force the dog to go away! Will update when I know more.Last edited: 2016-09-29 09:51:01 by ClaireC

- Pippilotta have you tried viewing the poster on an I pad. You can expand the photo for a better look. Bear in mind the bigger you expand the less clear the image will be. Or if you have something like photoshop you could upload into to do the same thing and sharpen the image
- 2016-09-29 08:32 Pippilotta
- Sorry, the more I look at this the more I think it could be Pippi. Very similar stance and twist of head. Wish I could see the ears better, that would clarify it.
Hopefully somebody spots this dog today again. - 2016-09-28 20:25 Hollieberry
- Thank you ClaireC I have shared with the groups I know, I will look for more to share with.
- 2016-09-28 20:22 ClaireC
- I have asked poster of this dog to see if they would be willing and more importantly able to help set up and monitor a feeding station in the first instance!

- If there was any way in the world you could get there Pippilotta I would go and try to find this dog. Just to set your mind at ease if nothing else....
- 2016-09-28 12:52 Pippilotta
- Hollieberry, Pippi has now been missing for 3 weeks and I am clutching at straws. I know it's about 250 miles, but what if somebody took her and then dropped her anywhere?
- 2016-09-28 11:29 Hollieberry
- Pippilotta its quite a distance from where your dog went missing but they can turn all over the place .I hope someone in the area can help this dog it looks like it needs it .Last edited: 2016-09-28 11:36:43 by Hollieberry
