- Make sure that all outbuildings have been checked thoroughly. Only this week a cat that had been missing for over THREE WEEKS was found inside an abandoned building. He had managed to get throughn a hole in the roof. Apart from half his weight, he was fine. And sometimes they will hide behind objects within the buildings. Always best to leave the cats scent, wnere you can, such as garden fences, gates, doors too. Walk around the area, and take with you something with Bubbles scent on, and rattle some dreamies too. Also take a squeaky toy as it may attract his attention. Poster around the area, and put "Lost" posters through doors too. Also wipe your scent around the garden too. Or put used bath towels on the clothes line Cats can go awol for weeks and still be in theit own area Because other people feed them. Try this too. Warm up some chicken in the microwave as the smell of the meat may help bring him home. When he returns I would keep him in for a few days
