Doglover
Yes Jane, you are so right....it is about time the Government made stricter laws and sentences for dog theft..it is becoming ridiculous...
Jane
My doggie friend said she heard this dog had been stolen on the radio - great to have it out there and get the publics attention. I live in Devizes not far away from Marlborough, if there is anything I can do to help, ANYTHING please contact me and I will make myself available.
Jane
I will share this dog lost several times a day until he is found (as I do all the lost dogs). These scumbags are ruining lives, breaking hearts. We really do need stronger laws to protect our family members. This is a serious problem that won't go away until the government change the law.

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

Wiltshire Police would be grateful for any information on the following please,

On Thursday 29th September 2016, the IP was out walking with her two dogs – red setter and a spaniel in a location described as across a ploughed field, near the byway between Easton Royal and Ram Alley. At approximately 3.30pm, with the setter ahead of her she saw the top of a female with bushy hair pushing something and heard the sound of a car door closing – small white vehicle, restricted view due to hedgerow. Parked on the grass at the top of the byway, in a gateway. The setter had disappeared without any trace. The vehicle made off towards Ram Alley and the Burbage bypass.

Description of dog is a large red setter, 4 years old, male, large head, microchipped, wearing a roll collar, brass disc, named Brewster, highly strung, has two lumps on top of tail.
