- Good idea Jayelle Could the owner ask the police about cctv in the area?
- 2016-10-02 14:41 BorderCol
- Another thought, with luck she will have scratched or bitten and been dropped so may be in hiding. If she has been dropped outside her usual"patch" she may not be able to find her way home, so zillions of posters and door to door leaflets may help.
She was taken after dark, which may suggest where the lads are from as most responsible parents won't let their youngsters out on bikes after dark. The next day was a school day, so the "word" will be about in their school by now. - 2016-10-02 14:27 BorderCol
- Also, inform police and get a crime reference number first, today if possible, to pass on to the schools to let them know this is really serious.
Pubs are good places for overhearing local misdeeds, try the local publicans and anywhere that bike owning kids hang out. Good luck I hope you have her back soon and that she is okay.Last edited: 2016-10-02 14:28:31 by BorderCol - 2016-10-02 14:22 BorderCol
- This is appalling. Kids talk and brag and tell on one another at school: do get this information into all the local schools tomorrow morning. Speak directly to the Headteacher and ask what action they can take to help you. The boys are pupils at someone's school or college and the Head will want to be seen to have taken quick action.Last edited: 2016-10-02 14:24:40 by BorderCol

- Whoever took your cat should be charged with theft.. the problem today is not enough discipline. If there was there would be less petty crime such as this, Rant over. Hope she is home soon

- Jenkins. Good idea to inform police,as it is theft, and plenty of posters. Paws xd.

- This is awful. Owner needs to report to police and get crime reference. Seems to me like these are youngsters if they are on mountain bikes with no vehicle. Might be worth putting up posters at local schools or colleges with reward if possible for information.
