- Yes you are right Veronica. Male cats usually beoome sexually mature at about 5 tol 8 months. It is always best to have your cat neutered, as then they wont wander too far usually. tyhey will have a smaller territory,m and are normally more "Homebound" Check sheds, garages, greenhouses etc in case locked in. Put some tuna in his dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put somethning with his scent on into a clean container, such as his blanket/bedding, along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too. Take aalk around the area holding somethning with his scent on, and rattle some treats such as dreamies. Someone may be feeding him. Poster around the area, and put "Lost" posters through doors too.
Ps Also female cats can become pregnant at SIXTEEN WEEKS old. One was only FOURTEEN WEEKS I read about; babies themselvesLast edited: 2016-10-03 08:47:13 - 2016-10-02 23:20 Veronica
- If he's older than 5 months, he could be looking for a girlfriend.
Hope he comes back soon. - 2016-10-02 23:07 AlisonH
