Baxter has been found!!! Turned up in almost perfect condition. No mud or any signs of hunger- strange?!? But he's happy and safe which all that matters! A big big thank you for everyone who helped and cared. Baxter sends his love ♥️

I called this morning to make a few more suggestions such as listening with the aid of pipe and funnel and contacting local hunt terrier man. Come on Baxter, bark loud and let Olivia know where you are.

Went out last night in the dead of night to where the report of a dog whining was. Walked the woods for about an hour or so but not a single sign of Baxter. Please keep eye out for any activity, locked sheds or unusual sounds. Many, many thanks, Olivia x

Would the 2 ladies that I met in the woods today PLEASE contact the owner. We found the sheep field as you described but were unsure where to go from there although we did have a good search. If you could pinpoint the area from there,and give them the details you gave me it would help enormously.

Have had reports of a dog whining in the woods, possibly underground yet the where abouts are unclear. Have had a search out for the last 2 hours with no avail. Will keep trying but if anyone is walking the Offwell way would they mind to just keep an ear out. We're so very worried and if he is stuck and had been for 4 days he must be very weak and possibly injured. Thank you so much for everyone and all their efforts- a bottle of wine offered for the very generous lady who helped today!!

Hi jasper! Have completely sweeped the woods with no hope or any sound at all! Would be honoured and so very thankful if you would like to do one more round? That would be amazing! Is it possible to arrange a number of friends to "sweep" the woods perhaps on Saturday (I will certainly come). From Google earth there would seem to be 2 areas of woods but not sure how big or how accessible they are- I assume they are surrounded by wire fence which would also be good to rule out. assume you have taken baxters friend back to woods. I will come over to the woods today- is there somewhere in particular that you would like me to look?

Baxter is still missing and we are growing increasingly more and more worried. Have called up all the vets and have zero leads. We're now offering a reward if found! We miss him terribly, he's such a sweet dog. Thank you for everyone's help so far, we'll keep looking.

Thank you so much Shannon! Baxter is still missing, doing another search of the woods today in any hope of finding him. And thank you Poochpal, was very helpful advice, his friend didn't come back dirty or anything so no signs of going down a badger hole or anything. We'll keep searching!

I have emailed general advice but it would be good to know more about the circumstances. Did the other dog return dirty as though they may have been underground? I hope he can be found very soon.
