Update from FB - Tonight I've met the dog which was running loose around Bellingdon and Chartridge last week. He's still shockingly thin, despite almost a week of decent food and extremely scared of people but he's safe, warm and cared for and he will soon come good! He didn't have a chip, but now does and has been named Lenny. He doesn't match any dogs listed as missing/stolen and the warden has been informed.

I have tried to turn him back to 'found' myself but can't. Maybe the easiest thing is to to start a fresh post once there is a photo and he has been scanned

Well done to whoever caught him and thank you for comparing with our many missing ones, pleased he is now safe.

I have asked admin to change back to found. Although caught he has not been reunited

Update from FB fantastic he is safe hoping he is chipped & can be reunited - UPDATE: An OCer has now caught the greyhound and has him safe in his care. No tag, but going to the vet tomorrow/Monday to check for microchip. Dog has been fed and is warming up. He's thin, but otherwise OK. It's not one of the dogs stolen from from Little Kingshill, nor does he match any dogs on DogsLost. More news when I have it and thanks to everyone who tried to catch him!

Fingers crossed that someone in the area with knowledge will be able to tempt this dog into being caught poor thing.
