- So today we had a call from Newark council and dog wardens that they had found Casey!!! He was found hidden under a bush at Waitrose in NEWARK which is over an hour away from where he went missing from 2 months ago. It's an absolute miracle that Casey is alive let aloan that he was been reunited with us!! Thank you to everyone that has helped in the search for Casey, best Christmas ever!!!

- The dog that was reported as a possible match for Casey was sadly killed today as a result of an RTA. That dog was not chipped and therefore not Casey. The search for Casey continues.

- Don't get it - her post was in (appreciated, thanks) speedy response to my second post on the subject and said I should have emailed. I was merely pointing out (exclamation mark was meant to be humorous in mood -obviously failed) that I had emailed the day before. The reason why I contacted every day for 3 days (post, email, post), when I logged on and found Casey not yet on page 1, was because it seemed unlikely to me that a post or email 24 hours previously 2 or 3 pages down the line would be picked up at that stage. AAARGH! giving up now....

- Look at the timing of Jayne's post and your comment and the use of the exclamation mark!Last edited: 2016-12-17 17:05:54 by ClaireC

- ClaireC - I just asked politely if this could be bumped up to page 1. I realised it had not been noticed by Admin so next day I emailed Admin. Then, a day later, posted again, in the hopes that it would be noticed (still politely requesting), Jayne noticed and kindly moved it and told me that it is better to email. All I did was point out that I had in fact emailed the day before. I'm not sure what I am supposed to have said that you think I should not have, unless you took exception to the phrase "this is going unnoticed" - it certainly wasn't meant to be a criticism - just trying to draw attention on my third communication as Casey was currently in the area and Issy needed advice I could not give. I know how busy Admin are.

- The dog in Old Leake is described as 'small'.
Said to have some white on it but is plastered in mud!
Also has not been seen for last couple of days or taken any food left out. - 2016-12-16 19:50 Jane

- ADMIN: This is going unnoticed - can you bump this up to page 1 so Issey can get help?
- 2016-12-15 17:05 nicolapicola
- Admin: Can you bump this up due to current sightings so others can offer help/advice? Not sure if Ray Dedicoat is near enough to help or how to contact him but I understand he is excellent at catching difficult dogs. Other who know, please contribute.

- Just received a PM on FB via my PAW page - not sure if this helps but Friday 7th Oct my husband saw a black dog on St Michaels Lane. It had been caught by someone who lives I think at "Fairway" on St Michaels Lane, they were asking their neighbours if anyone knew who's dog it was.
