Watching Lost & Found on Channel 4 and cannot see through tears and had to look Creme up on @DogLost and thank goodness she's reunited. I'm so happy. The power of social media.

Happens all the time with dogs on the run, NickyB. They can switch quickly into survival mode and some very basic instincts take over. Dogs don't seem to recognise people by sight when they are in that mode. They work much more on scent. I have seen this with my own eyes several times on searches, where the dog does not recognise an owner who is sitting a few yards away.

brilliant publicity for the amazing doglost.co.uk - but can you tell me creme reacted in such an unknown way (in my experience) to both the man and woman, running away from them instead of running towards them?

I watched it. I'm so pleased the trap worked. I loved the way she responded to her owners when they found her but the reaction from her canine family was so heartwarming. Last edited: 2017-11-27 18:47:56 by Jane
