"Just over a hour ago I got a call to check pride in. The Port a lad had posted a photo and video of a cat at the holiday inn we raced down there and after abit of searching and chasing we located the cat and yes indeed it was our boy that had been missing for 7 and a half weeks Joe Michael Anderson Kinson from the bottom of our hearts I will be eternaly greatful for you posting those photos and the video that led to us finding our boy you've the sheer hell we have been in for the time Garfield was missing we will be round to see and properly thank you I also want to thank the people that have been so kind to me the time Garfield was missing even helping me search the west minister estate people I didn't know at all gave me there time we started as strangeRs but ive made lifetime friends and thank you to the members of pride in the Port daily I posted he was still missing and all I got was kindness not one bad message and that means so much to me I am a crazy cat lady my cats and dogs bring me so much joy so thank you everyone for being so kind garfields mum xxxx"

Neutered males dont tends to go too far (spayed females too) unless chased out of their territory. My guess is that someone has been feeding him. If this is the case, I would ground him for at least a week, or he may be off again. Stay close now Garfield:-)xxx

I have read previous comment about a number of cats in same area missing. SNARL are investigating a cat killer ( initially it was known as croydon cat killer.....but known in other areas). Worth contacting them.

Hi it's been 2 weeks now no sightings nothing it's more concerning because 5 other cats in Avery close vicinity have also gone missing within a week of each other we've posted hundreds of leaflets put up loads of posters knocked on doors hung our worn clothes in the line out the litter tray and his food outside left a covered pillow and a blanket in a cat house we have in the garden we've done four walks a day early morining mid day tea time and Kate at night we have done everything we can within our power to help bring our boy back

Nine days is not that long for a cat to be missing. He may be locked in somewhere such as a shed, garage, greenhouse etc (Cats can survive without food for quite a while). Someone may be feeding him (Common problem) Put some tuna in his dish, and call him night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. Put something with his scent on into a clean container, such as his blanket/bedding/soft toy, along with something with your scent on too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too. Take a walk around the area, taking with you an object with his scent on, and rattle some treats such as dreamies. Try warming up some chicken in the micorwave, as the smell may entice him home (Or fish) Poster around the area, and put "Lost" posters through doors too.

Another reason why a cat may go awol is if there is a dominant cat new to the area, sometimes they will chase a cat out of it`s own territory, but the cat returns after a few days. Paws xd.

As neutered should not be too far away.

Thank you I've made a poster two yesterday and my mistake I made the first one saying found then I realised and done the right one saying lost Garfield is still lost 9 day now
