Fluffbug
I do not know if the information I am going to give you will be of any help at all as it is so vague but I will post it anyway. Around January 04 I was working in my surgery as a practice nurse, talking to a patient who told me she had just purchased a "staffie" from the internet. She went on to chat about it. She said that there had been a problem with getting its papers. When I next saw her I asked about the dog and she said that despite contacting the "owners" several times they had still not been able to find the papers. I suggested to her that this was highly suspicious and that she should contact the police and /or an animal rescue organization (I did not know about Doglost then). When I saw her again and enquired what she had done, it was precisely nothing, she remarked to me that even if the dog did belong to someone else she didn't think she would be able to give it up now!!! I pleaded with her to do something about it but I have since left the surgery and do not know what happened. The address of the surgery is Dr Bhasme, Railway st, Gillingham. Perhaps you could put a poster or some information in the waiting room, if that patient comes in it might trigger some feelings. I do not have any other informaton, not the patients name or anything, I could really kick myself because if I had I might have been able to do something really helpful. The Dr's surgery number is 01634 853667. I do hope that you find your dogs and I am so sorry I could not be of more help.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
