Please we need to tell helpers not to chase, you will end up making him move area and then you will have to poster larger area to get info. Could do with trying to get feeding in one area then possibly a trap

Breed changed as friends of owner insist it is a boxer bulldog cross..not a staffie cross. Was seen tonight around Staker Lane Havenbaulk Ave area so is staying very close. Won't let anyone close enough to grab. Praying he stays away from the A roads.

Poor dog must be scared I do wish people would not chase, it does nothing but make the dog run even more.

sighting just reported at 1715hrs..so relates to approx 1700hrs...."My husband saw this dog about 15 minutes ago on the junction of straker lane and it ran from there towards Brookfield School, He said there were about 7 or 8 people chasing it. Hope this helps - live on Pasture will keep an eye out"

pl note he may be a boxer crossed staffie....with the owner out of the Uk and not answering texts we cannot be sure....very gentle nature apparently but scared witless since yesterday and near two dangerous busy roads.
Jot cotswolds
if anyone in the area can out up posters...it would be great

I am cross posting from facebook, the contact details given are for the kennels whose staff are trying to recover this dog. Owner flew abroad on holiday. Only 1 yr old and scared stiff. Seen on A516 slip road by Mickleover Court Hotel last night and c. 0700 today, and by entrance to pastures estate on A516. he also had a 5pm sighting last night on the golf course. The photo is an aerial shot of the active area. kennels is lower right, the brown path going diagonally over field leads to the square field he was in mid morning today evading the kennels staff. A lot of people have been out searching and have possibly scared him further. As at 3pm today he has moved away from that field. Could be in the housing area or back towards the A516 Etwall Rd. Kennels NEEDS SIGHTINGS. He broke through a 6ft fence not long after arriving there yesterday afternoon. Some people who have previously walked him are trying to help this afternoon. Need to get him before he does end up on that horribly busy A38 or A516. If you want to see the area in more detail then copy this street map link into your browser. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@52.8991269,-1.551384,1027m/data=!3m1!1e3
