- Hi Patricia if you expand the photo you can get a better view. The markings are different on both his legs and face. Worth mentioning though x

- As the dog is so filthy and thin and found only a few miles from where Max went missing I thought it was worth mentioning. Its hard to see in such a small photo if it is the exact likeness .

- This dog reminds me of my Border Collie who could look half starved after a couple of days of being stressed (usually if my son went away)so might not mean he has been out there a long time .Glad he is safe & I hope an owner can be found.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
