- This dog is now safe in rescue! She was caught by the dog warden and served her 7 days in the pound. She has been chipped, spayed, is having her vaccinations and will be found a super home!

- The dog was seen again today. Another lady and myself spent some time sitting in the field talking to her & feeding her chicken & treats. The dog warden also made it to the site before the dog ran off. It's promising that she has stayed around for a week. We'll keep trying.

- The dog warden has spent some time here trying to gain the dog's confidence. It's a bitch, though unlikely to be Fly as their ears are different. I saw her from a distance, and will keep going back to see if I can get close enough for a photo and to gain her trust.

- Poochpal, I haven't seen the dog myself but it's still around. I dropped a trap off to the couple who have seen it in their garden a few times, and left them some sausages and tinned food to spread around the trap. We want the dog to get used to it being there before we try and lure it in. The dog was seen this afternoon about 4:30 but with 10 dogs myself I can't get down there in time to see it. Witnesses say it's white with some feathering to the tail. Local vets have been notified in case the dog is run over and gets taken in. I'll update when there's more news.

- Thanks for looking out for this one, if possible can someone get a photo if seen again? Is it a feathered type saluki? One in particular that I am thinking of is Fly, ref number 104544.
Try sitting with some food to see if she can be coaxed over, no direct eye contact or if one of the householders would be prepared to leave a small amount of food in the garden at the same time each day go keep it in the area. - 2016-10-21 18:43 Hollieberry

- The dog has been seen in the area yesterday and again about 5:30pm today, ducking in and out of gardens and into the fields west of Widford Road. I'll go down tomorrow and have a look.
