Fantastic news!!! Welcome home Cassie xx

Cassie found, six miles away. The man who found her had taken his labs for a walk, left the gates open, and when he returned, she was in their kennel. Don't know where else she's been, but she doesn't look as though she's lived rough for 3 full days plus.

I hope Cassie manages to find her way back to Etherow then Doug. They are fabulous dogs and very intelligent, there was one a while ago made her way back from the Lakes to Wales where she lived and she'd gone in a car too so pray Cassie is as clever x

Cassie does know Etherow well, but we live in Marple Bridge and go there by car. She was in the woods behind the park (Ernocroft woods), close to the Glossop road. A farmer saw her and said she was moving away from Etherow towards Broadbottom. But, a fit border collie's working day is many miles. In truth, we have no idea where she is. Thanks for your concern.Last edited: 2016-10-23 11:21:38 by Doug

I would have thought Compstall was a distance from Broadbottom. Does Cassie know the area around Etherow well and is it the back end of Etherow or the Compstall end? Hope she is home soon x
