- I will be definately getting jenson microchipped Nicky B,
Bo- thank you for your kind words, it means a lot.
also many thanks to all the admin helpers accross the social media and doglost, it is great work done by all!
i was looking on FB leeds dogs lost and found seeing all the dogs been found each day except for Jenson.
Jenson is very sleepy and tired, i dont think hes managed to have a sound nights sleep during his time away.
One more thing to do though, and thats to contact the lady who knew the chap with my dog and to thank her for doing the right thing and alerting me.
there were a few sightings of jenson from people who saw the posters in the end.

- well done lee in getting jenson back. do be sure to get him microchipped - as it does make a huge difference when a dog is lost/found. i always advise id tags on the collar too as it makes it easy for us if we find a dog to ring immediately - but of course dog thieves can remove it

- Lee - What a kind decent and generous person you are. Not only for not reacting negatively to the chap he was with, but for having the compassion in seeing past what had happened and reaching out to him with your gift of gratitude. I know it's not funny but your write up on his "other info" made me laugh out loud. Scraggy - just brilliant.

- Thanks to all, jenson was re claimed this morning, happy enough but smelly and wet, a little sore around his collar area,
But a successful mission this morning to get him back from the man who had no intention to contact me.
He had the poster up his sleeve as well.
Happy ending, so relieved... thank you all. - 2016-10-28 08:53 Jayne - Founder Doglost.

- Thanks Jayne for the advice - police will act if i am 100% sure he has my dog. So i will see with my own eyes tomorrow morning at 8am when he waits for chemist to open. Ill try get jenson back there and then
If not, Then i can get crime number and police will circle in on him themselves..
Helpful lady at the station, seemed happy to do everything apart from give me back up at the chemist.. unless i am 100% sure its jenson and this man becomes agressive, to call for an officer - 2016-10-27 20:59 Juls

- Calling owner.....
- 2016-10-27 18:38 Lee
- After putting up hundreds of posters, i received a text from a lady, giving me a name of a man who has my dog..... he is a beggar who begs in leeds city centre. ( apparently now using jenson too)
The man is aware i am looking for jenson says the lady. She has seen him with one of my posters.
she also told me that he goes to a certain chemist every morning at 8am and then walks down the road to the bus stop and into town to beg for the day...
She thinks he would hand him over to the rightful owner, but he has changed jenson's collar and me wonders if he would be willing to really if his begging earnings have increased with Jenson there.
i plan to approach him in the morning at the chemist,in hope he is willing to hand jenson over. This man will be getting his daily dose of methedone, and if i am not successful tomorrow, these people are creatures of habit and will attempt from a different angle if he chooses to not co operate. Thoughts and advice on the above anyone? - 2016-10-26 20:34 Lee
