- FOUND 11p.m. on 19th October in Winsford, Cheshire, Golden Retriever bitch. Probably aged around 8 years. Had very recent surgery to back of left shoulder. No collar nor microchipped. Found exhausted and lying in road wearing a mud covered tee shirt (presumbably to protect the wound). Contact 01606 551 510. http://www.dogpages.org.uk/forums/index.php?s=e2f60539f5c1d1631b6cf21cc43a851c&showtopic=153787 This just might be worth checking on?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Majorjet found reception@southshropshire.gov.uk they use a contractor for stray dogs caught by residents (01584 813000), also try north shropshire on envhealth@northshropshiredc.gov.uk (01933 238460). Also Dogs Trust at Roden in Telford 01952 770225. Also RSPC at Gonsal Farm, Dorrington, Shrewsbury SY5 7ET on 01743 244270, open 11.45 am to 16:00 except wednesdays. I hope these are helpful majorjet. Keep safe Livvy.XXXLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Have put the poster up in our pub approx 2.5 miles away from Longville. I will also ask the local farmers when I see them. Police Station at Church Streton are very good with lost dogs. There is a DW at South Shropshire Council, (not sure of the number) they also cover the area, or at least did a year ago. Hope Livvy is safe. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Tried contacting owners no reply. Spoken to Church Stretton Council office Tel: 01694 722113 to check if DW was aware (no direct number on council site), said they do not have a DW that takes in stray dogs they would go through the police, have been given this number for owner to try 08457 444888 if not already. - I have relatives who live in Shrewsbury and Church Stretton. Will send them Livvy's details. If she has any identifying marks ect, would be worth informing rescue shelters/local breed rescue, as chips do not always work. If Livvy has any favourite places/knows the way home, poster and put A5 mini posters through letterboxes. There is a Dogs Trust in the Shropshire area, but cannot remember what it's called. Stay safe Livvy and hurry home soonxxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Livvy well. Stay safe Livvy. We will find you x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
