- Ohhh, FABULOUS News :)
Well Done everyone , Great work Freddie12
Maybe all the people who shared so much for Tricky can also Share Alfie Black - He was 1 of the 1st Missing/Stolen Dogs I tweeted for
He was a 'DancingDog' (Black Labrador) in Covent Garden - well known to locals
He 'disappeared' & is still out there in 'the ether'
http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=31074#.WBfcp_mLTIU
LOST 14 JULY 2011
Xposting from His Facebook page
5 and 4 months ago he bolted from Covent Garden in central London when some kids threw banger caps near him on the pavement. He ran down the Strand to Trafalgar square where the trail goes cold...Alfies poster was put up on mass around the central London Area and every lost dog chanell was sought in a massive attempt to find him,to no avail. His profile has been raised on the web on both facebook and twitter and still after 5 long years sadly he is still missing. We would like to thank EVERYONE who has tried to get him returned to the family who miss him so very much. There are thousands of you who we dont and will never know helping us and we cant say a big enough thankyou to you all for helping us so far.The search will never stop for Alfie and we are always inspired by tales of pets re united after many years normally down to there microchip. This sadly is our main hope of now finding Alfie.Today we will be raising his profile across the web as we have done every month since he dissappeared. Please help us today raise his profile and help us keep on our endless search for Alfie. We can only hope that wherever he is today he is loved, warm and fed.He is the most loving dog you could ever hope to meet and we all miss him every day in our lives

- Bumped due to update immediately below. Fingers and paws crossed he tells Police where to find Tricky.
- 2016-10-30 18:29 .
- 6pm Sunday - update from the owner - the thief has been arrested, and the last place where the puppy was is known, but as yet, no sign of the puppy. Owner will update me later when he gets home ...... I'll keep you all posted and will update the posts I have made on social media for now .....
- 2016-10-30 17:41 .
- I've posted this for the owner as he was out searching last night , I took all the details from their Facebook page, there had been sightings of the man after the theft and I think possibly reports of someone trying to sell the puppy in Soho, I think as he is a regular street performer in London they probably get to know of the homeless but I don't suppose that's a definite. I'll msg the owner and make sure they see all the suggestions below, but if anyone else is local and could print / circulate flyers at the taxi rank or soup kitchen etc please do, I'm in Herts so not so easy.
- 2016-10-30 16:44 Patlucky
- Do we know the person who stole Tricky is homeless?
Could just be anyone who steals - 2016-10-30 16:15 Sandra Watt
- Might be worth somebody handing out flyers to taxi drivers - there is a taxi rank at Charing Cross station which is closest to National Gallery.
- 2016-10-30 16:08 nicolapicola
- I work in the West End and will keep a look out. I would expect the homeless person who took him to stay in the immediate area (the same homeless people do the same areas usually). Worth looking all down The Strand I would think. How about asking the soup kitchen people, Sally Army, etc who know many of the regular homeless and visit them on the streets? (St Martins-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square might be able to advise how to contact them). Also, could try handing flyers to as many homeless people as possible as I'm sure lots of them would be sympathetic.
- 2016-10-30 15:48 Sydneysmum
- There is an N.A. meeting room (Narcotics Anon) just across the road from Trafalgar Square. Anything going down in that manor & THEY will know about it - and they WILL help you. Not sure of their meeting nights - but easy enough to find out. Also, there's dozens of CCTV's in that location.
- 2016-10-30 15:25 IlovemyboyBarclay
- I really hope Tricky is found soon! He is such a cute little boy :)
I will keep an eye out for him on all selling sites xx

- Link for some dog-friendly hostels-
https://moretodogstrust.org.uk/help-with-finding-accommodation/dog-friendly-hostels/london-region/south-east
However,as only 9% of hostels welcome dogs and this man only acquired one recently it is doubtful that he got a placing st that short notice - I suspect they are greatly sought.
More likely he squats or has a known public "place" for sleeping.
Only my own opinions of course.

- What a terrible thing to happen
This guy was trying to get over the loss of his dog
So gets Tricky and some horrid person steals his puppy
Makes me feel sick
Fingers crossed for safe return.
Do people really not care about love for a dog and peoples feelings.
