Julie, unfortunately in many areas these darn things will be scaring dogs until New Year. My own area is one of them.

Another victim of these dammed fireworks - the sooner they are banned the better. I am so very, very sorry to hear about Ned. So tragic and heartbreaking for you. RIP darling boy. Run happy and free at the Bridge beautiful sweetheart xxxx

It has been confirmed by the owner, that this was Ned, his dog who ran off last night after being spooked by fireworks. He has been collected from vets & will be laid to rest at home.

I may have traced the owner. He lives a mile from where dog was found. Poor thing had been spooked by fireworks last night ( normally not bothered by loud bangs at all ). Owner is ringing vets to confirm & will let me know. I will update when I have info.

Have spoken to most farms in area & none seem to be missing a dog.
Great Cummins farm/Windout farm/Great Huish farm/Fingle Glen farm. Am waiting for a call back from a couple.
The owner of Great Hackworthy Farm has been informed & he will keep an ear out in area & let me know if he hears of anyone missing a dog.
