Thanks for all the shares the owner is so grateful and very happy to have Jenny home. Having got involved in a few missing dog searches I was able to offer advice to the owner with in the first hour the dog went missing. They set up Jenny's bed outside the house by the front door. Despite searching until late in to the night Jenny wasn't seen. At 5 am the owner heard her bark and opened the front door to see Jenny sitting happily in her bed!
Jenny was being walked off lead in a field right behind her home, she had a flashing collar on and was with their other dog, a firework went off and the owner called Jenny but before she could get back to the owner another firework went off and with that Jenny bolted out of the field in to the housing area towards the main road.
The owners will now be keeping Jenny on lead when out on walks during this terrible firework season and not walking her after dark.
