This comment was posted on facebook 2 hrs ago (not by me). I asked what colour the dog was and they said Tan but not good daylight

Just past a whippet running up the central reservation on the A303 by near the A34 roundabout, visibility is very poor and traffic is moving very fast. There was no where to stop safety.

The dog sighted was not Peaches, it is now known to be a saluki called Star and has now been running loose for over a week, recently seen in Burbage area Her owner has been to the area to try to find her.

Thanks for bumping Alison, hope there will be further sightings. It would be great if it is Peaches. I have left messages on Su's mobile but no replies.

Possible sighting reported in Collingbourne Ducis Weds 16th. A dog looking very similar to the picture came out of an air raid shelter in my back garden around 7am and returned again 20 mins later after being scared off by my 2 dogs. The dog was seen on the close until Thursday 17th in the evening but every time some one approached it ran away. We left food in the air raid shelter weds night which was eaten so we believe the dog came back. Fencing was being placed round the back gardens by the council so on Thursday when we put more food out it wasn’t touched and was still there this morning when I checked. I only spotted the post today so hoping dog hasn’t gone to far

Thanks JennyB for helping with posters, Peaches could well be still in the local area so the more who know she is missing harder it will be to hide her.

Spoken to Su who is trying hard to spread the word but doesn't have access to a printer. If anyone locally could help by giving posters to posties, bin men etc. So that if Peaches is seen they can contact Su quickly then that would be a help.

Sorry to see that PEACHES is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (106839)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
