- Have you thought about putting a baby/ dog gate in your hall? I have always done this with my dogs. It means you can have the front door open but feel completly secure that your dog won't get out. They start at £10 , a lot cheaper than a night in kennels.

- First of all I would like to thank everyone for their concern Rambo was picked up from the pound! He was again just at the bottom of my street! He bolted out the front door when I was getting my 5 month old baby out of the car! A person literally 30 seconds walk picked him up I circled round my estate for over 2 hours! As I could see the person on Facebook who had him in a Facebook group but the man wasn't responding to his messages! Rambo has been microchipped unfortunately the so called dog warden couldn't pick it up? The dog warden called me at 9.20pm that night and told me he took him to forest lodge but when I arrived at forest lodge to collect him the next morning, they said they didn't get the phone call until 9:25pm to say he was on route to them! The dog warden could of dropped him back even the kennels said that! I've lived at this address 4 years and every now and again if your getting shopping in or the children open the door he will bolt of and this estate has so many side streets and back alleys it makes it so difficult to find him! I don't keep a collar on him indoors because of his seizures! Thank you all for your concern

- Rambo, not Tambo. Getting to grips with new phone keyboard.

- I'm guessing Tambo is still in the pound as this has not yet turned blue?
Also guess my previous comment has been deleted. No good harping on about microchipping to this owner as this is the fifth time this poor dog has been 'lost' and yet still he is not chipped. I hope he does not get left where he is because he deserves better. - 2016-11-04 14:24 Doglover
