Just to confirm,thank you Rose x. Arlo has been found. He is fine. He was caught up in undergrowth & another Vizsla found him. Thanks everyone x

have just ( noon sat 5th ) seen comment on Face Book saying he has been found .. no other info' / verification but hoping that is correct xx

Arlo has been found this morning!!
A lady walking her dog found him. His lead was caught up in brambles. He's so happy to have been found.

Has anyone organised a search today..get the scouts to help?? If he's caught up by his lead he may lie quietly and won't have been able to find shelter overnight..it has been so cold. Owners should contact Jenny at k9tracker.co.uk to get her search dog out as he may not be far from being lost as the lead would have got caught up pretty quickly.

MORE INFORMATION: lost from the car park near Rousebarn Lane. He also has his longline lead attached.

I've now reported to Highways Agency - if anyone sees on or near the roads call them on 0300 123 5000 - Log No. 18280296

If anyone can get to Lees Wood, closeby, there is a Firework Display going on tonight. I've left messages for them to call so that they can put out an announcement asking everyone to keep their eyes and ears open, but don't think that will happen unless someone approaches them at the Display Tonight.

I have left a message for Lees Wood Firework team - hope they respond to me - if nothing else, we should be able to ask them to make an announcement so that locals and visitors keep an eye out for this beautiful boy.

Have shared all over Facebook in all missing dog pages for area and 'for sale' pages that cover the area.

Can't get out tonight to help, but if I can help with any information on FB to direct people to any sightings, please let me know. 07774 724 797

This poor young dog...at this time of year....heartbroken to see this. Is anyone in the area warning the fireworks organisers to see if they can get help?? Perhaps the scouts could help find the dog instead of letting off fireworks...might be a nice thought. Poor boy, hope he is found soon as there is a big firework display for the cubs & scouts in Lees Wood tonight which is adjacent to Whippendell :-(
