So pleased she is back. Where was she found? PS Lydia, I was in buying the big pumpkins yesterday, took the photos of the poster, went home, had lunch, circulated on fb and came back with my dogs (and no child and husband) to look for a couple of hours!!

If possible - ( this happened to another dachshund owner) chances are she has not gone too far. Try getting a crate, put in it some clothing from home with strong scents from your house, bedding etc, put bowl of water and and some food down, Do so at night time and check around 5am. ( this worked for another dog and she went to sleep in the crate. good luck xxx

Lots of us have searched the area this afternoon with no luck. There are already a good number of posters up so locals are getting to know and we have already shared to local facebook groups. I will start to get this out to the national groups now too. Hope she's soon found. For info, apparently she was spooked when another dog 'had a go' at the lab being walked with her and she ran off towards the rough direction of Emmets Farm and farm shop (south of the woods).
