After seeing the pictures of Prince I am totally shocked that someone could do this to another living creature .Prince did not deserve to have his days ended like this I hope the scumbags are caught and I am left wondering whether it was the same person who made the original phone call. My deepest sympathy to Princes owners .

There are words to say that can bring healing to Princes owners at this time. I hope they get justice for Prince and who ever did this dreadful thing is made to pay, Karma has a way of coming back. sadly we don't always get to see that happen.

This is absolutely awful news. I hope we get justice for Prince and bring the low life to pay for what they have done.

Don't really know what to say but seen as though a lot of people have been following the search for my beautiful old boy, I thought I would update you all. At around 10:20 this morning (I was about to start another search) I received a call from RSPCA telling me it wasn't good news and that I needed to go to Sheffield animal centre as a dog had been found dead matching princes description. We went, I had to identify him and as much as it breaks my heart I can confirm that it is my little prince. We then got took into a room where they explained the condition in which he was found, as if this wasn't bad enough I was then told that prince had been found dumped in a suitcase in some bushes at the side of the road between Tinsley & Brinsworth basically dumped him like he was rubbish!!! They had a phone call from somebody who witnessed him been dumped and RSPCA picked him up yesterday morning at 6:30am. We don't know anything what happened before this but I can tell you one thing, somebody somewhere knows something!! Somebody has done this to MY PRINCE!! I can also confirm that this is now a criminal investigation, there are going to be appeals and press release. This is now in the hands of the RSPCA investigation team and the police. We are now urging anybody who has seen anything suspicious around these areas since he went missing on the 5th of November to please come forward, even the smallest detail might help the investigation. I must also say that all information given is fully private and confidential and you will be kept anonymous. Please call 0300 1234 999 and then quote badge number 868. I'm literally begging, please please please help me find out what happened to him & get justice for my beautiful angel! I'm literally in pieces "

Owners have been delayed re the canal search and send apologies. They have had a call from the RSPCA and have gone to establish if the found dog is Prince.

Hoping it is him and hoping he's okay ....

****HELP NEEDED**** Crossposted update-
Update: I've had a phone call this evening (this is why I haven't been replying for a while) had a call from a couple of lads saying that they had found a dead dog matching Princes description at the side of the canal in Tinsley, they called off an unknown number and didn't give very many details. We have been down tonight and searched as much as we could In the dark but couldn't see anything. We don't actually know if it is him and we are praying to God that it's not, but we need to rule this out so we can continue our search. We are back in the morning starting at the canal leading through tinsley and we could really do with as many people as possible to help us as we need to thoroughly search the area to rule this out. Fingers crossed we don't find my old man in this way and we will continue the search and campaigns as normal if nothing is found. We will be meeting at tinsley canal at 10:30am. Thank you.

"**Prince the Jack Russell is still missing** it will be 72 hours tonight at 11pm he's been missing!! I'm getting more & more worried by the minute. He's 12 years old and he's out there somewhere..he went missing on the 5th (bonfire night) around 11pm from my friends back garden who was watching him for me (Raby street, Tinsley S9) he is mostly white with some ginger patches around his head and eyes and ginger ears, he also has a ginger patch on his back. He looks like he's got black eyeliner on and he has a very distinctive mole at the top of his nose below his eye. He has a small tail with a patch of ginger and a little white end. He is neutered and very friendly. His teeth are also falling out due to age so he doesn't have a lot left. His fur is very wiry at the moment as it's winter and that's how I like it at this time of year. we have searched everywhere the past few days, posters everywhere too. We have rang all the shelters & council dog wardens and they don't have him. We have visited various kennels, they have our details. We have spoke to loads of people too. We have followed the only couple of leads we have had and still no sign! 😥 I've searched up on all jack Russell's that have been found and none are him!! He's got to be somewhere! I'm urging anybody at all that thinks they may have seen him or has any information to contact me asap, literally anything at all. The smallest detail may lead to the safe return of my precious old man. I need him back, I've lost everything else this year, he's the last thing I have left and I need him to come back to me. He's not just a pet, he's my child and I can't even explain what I am going though. Please if you could share that would be great! The more people this reaches the more of a chance I have of getting my boy back home! Thank you. Also the best number to contact me on is 07527227848 should you have any information. He could be anywhere by now so please check your gardens, sheds anywhere he could hide and please keep your eyes peeled when your out. Thank you again."
