Really pleased to see this good news.
This is not a "prank" , it is complete stupidity. Who finds it funny? Certainly not the owners...or indeed anyone but the dipstick who did it.

When I spoke to police about this he did say there have been a number of prnaks and horses let out. MINDLESS IDIOTS !! A worry for the owners and also a danger to the horses! Also they could cause an accident thus creating even more harm from their stupidity!!

Hi I now have an update. I originally posted on the DogLOst Cornwall facebook page and shared everything from there as this kept it with DogLost. It was via these posts that our plea was seen and in fact they were some 4 miles away in a field. Due to the fact that so many horses in the same area went missing the loaner of Mandy firmly believes they were let out as a prank. A big padlock will ensure that this doesnt happen again in the future. I will now update her microchip to state found. The horses are now back in their field and are calm and happy. Hi CJ and thank you for changing to stolen. The black and white cob is mine and is on loan to a lovely family. She is microchipped sadly the TB is not. He is wearing shoes whereas the cob is barefoot. They lived in the field next to the loaners property however the following morning the gate was found latched back and the horses had gone. Posters have been put up, radio station alerted, a thorough search has been conducted but nothing. I will leave them listed together for today and separate them later this evening if not found. In addition they were both wearing rugs. The TB was wearing a purple spotty coat and the cob was wearing a dark blue coat. It has been difficult to get the interest of the Police however a CRN has been given as stolen so lets hope that all inquiries are followed up. The chip is now marked as stolen and as the cobs owner I will be contacted. I will update if I have further news

Hi it would be better if horses listed with a page for each in case one found one reunited, does the bay have a microchip as the number listed is for the black and white cob.
Do both horses belong to same owner or where they missing from livery?
Says stolen as gate shut but was it a a latch that can self shut in the wind or is there any further proof of theft?
