For the followers who do not use Facebook, and there are many, including some of our co-ordinators this is the update from the owner's friend.

In November my friends gate was opened where her 3 dogs ran out on the road tink a chihuahua got ran over and sadly died and belle went missing am izzy the spaniel was beside herself ... After weeks of putting up poster we draw a dead end and sadly had to move on but she was never far from our thoughts ..... Yesterday a text was received that they had her . And she was picked up ... I haven't seen my friend to know all the details but she wasn't far from our village ... Main thing is she is safe and in good health but being checked at the vets tomorrow . Her little 6 year old owner is complete again ... Thank you for all your well wishes I'll pass them on to Jess x

Just a thought: There are still lots of us who are not on Facebook (and really don't wish to be!). I did try that Facebook link but just got a one-liner about Belle being back, which may, of course, be all there is in her particular case, though the remainder of the thread is not accessible to me. Sometimes with these links we can't access them at all. It would be nice, if someone sees on Facebook that a dog is reunited, if you could possibly be kind enough to give us fogeys a brief note of how they were found. It would be much appreciated.

Still no news on little Belle. Article is in this weeks Gazette and the Blackmore Vale which we are praying will bring some calls with information. Child breaking her heart after already losing one dog to a rta.
