Police have seized over 40 dogs in Kent many believed to be stolen. One has been reunited after missing for 6 years. If you think your missing dog could be amongst them please ring 101 and quote operation Medusa. Please also make sure your details are up to date with the chip company if your dog is chipped. https://www.facebook.com/260012884055691/posts/3420489254674689/?extid=KpCsiEkzbciPlOt3&d=n

If this post is removed I will not help dog lost in anyway shape or form ever again, this is a dog who was removed by deception from his owners BUT the police will not get involved, there have been consistent lies and untruths told about his removal and subsequent vet trips, if that was the case why was it 3 days after removal before the rescue even took him to a vets. and the vet did not prescribe any treatment appropriate to the so called problems the rescue have described. this is out and out theft by false pretences

This post should remain. The rescue will not even disclose Teddys location. TEAM TEDDY

Thanks for your comments, they are really appreciated! I have to inform everyone, that there is a solicitor involved in this case, so we can't say to much, but it is definitely a case of theft! People should be made aware of what has gone on. There is a Facebook page about Teddy. All details can be found there to!

Sad to hear this post is to be removed. surely removal of a dog from owner, without consent and via deception amounts to theft ?
Bo
I'd suggest contact the appropriate authorities and go from there. If this is not a criminal case, the dispute can be taken to a civil court who will judge based on the facts rather than hear say.

Hello I am also very saddened to hear you have removed this post,Please re think your actions,Teddy bear was removed from his loving owners after Absolute Bull Terriers asked if they could take Teddy for a check at a vet of their choice, they told his owners they would be an hour and never returned him, they are totally heartbroken, the said rescue have done some unthinkable things in the past, including taking a dog from a home that wasn't suitable their mistake, and taking this said dog to a local kennels as a stray, the dog ended up with original owner he was rescued from they went on to put the dog to sleep, please, please, please reinstate immediately, this isn't the first time a dog has been put to sleep at the hands of absolute bull terriers,

Hello, I am very saddened to hear you have removed this post! I thought you were about finding missing dogs and reuniting them with their owners!
This dog belongs to the owners, not the rescue, they have paid an adoption fee, and have had him for some time! He was taken from their house under false pretences and suspicious circumstances, so in theory, Yes stolen by the so called rescue!
This is causing a great deal of upset and distress to the owners, I am just a concerned friend as this has now added to their distress! The post should be reinstated immediately. As no one knows where Teddy is, this rescue has done some very questionable things over the years, I know for a fact as I have suffered to, so I know first hand that poor Teddy could end up anywhere, even sold again to someone else!
Please rethink your actions and get Teddy home now! His whereabouts are 'Not' known to the owners, therefore he is infact 'Stolen'......

Have heard that this dog is with rescue so not technically missing as whereabouts known. Will keep on site so people can read before removing unless we hear from the owners.

Sorry to see that TEDDY BEAR is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (107339)
  • Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
  • You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
  • Keep us updated by keeping your dog's page up to date and check for posts from helpers who may have suggestions and possible matches or sightings
