- It's certainly possible. Though I'd like to think that someone who found a collar would have called the number on the tag, which was still attached. And if he had just slipped his collar in the woods somewhere, why hasn't he turned up? He's chipped and his loss is well publicised.

- Just a thought, what if someone found the collar somewhere else and put it by the seat to be hopefully found not realising that there is a missing dog in that area.

- Yes - but I don't think that points to a particular conclusion. It wasn't that tight on him so he could have slipped it or it could have been pulled off.

- Was Pringles collar fastened when it was found ?
- 2016-11-18 19:57 Ted68
- Pringle is still missing one week on. A helpful dog walker rang us today to tell us that he had found Pringle's undamaged collar by a seat near the road on the Finchampstead Ridges (close where Pringle went missing)- this is a popular dog walking spot. We now suspect Pringle might have been taken by someone and we have reported his loss to the police. If anyone out there has any useful information then please let us know. Many thanks.
