Jazzi, I have been dealing with a friend of Ruby's owner for updates etc through email, she sent the original details into admin. Maybe a family member has answered the phone!! Agree seems a bit pointless if helpers etc ring number on poster and the person answering does know about Ruby. Jan xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner it is vitally important that you contact us a.s.a.p. I have been leaving messages on 01902 337219 (the number given in the original missing report), today I have got through and told they dont have a missing dog....hence the reason for not calling me back. Our posters display this contact number and have been emailed out to local helpers and organisations. We know our posters work.......but without the right number on they wont! Please email jazzi@doglost.co.uk a.s.a.p. with the correct contact number.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

as owner put smaller posters in to neighbors doors and also maybe put a article in the paper. and is there any railways near by they need to get in contact with them sure this as been suggested, I also think that Ruby is so distinctive, someone would have seen her, good luck in getting her back. maria thanks for registering and posting it really does help us when owners keep us updated. Ruby is so distinctive with her colouring and you need to poster your area and go further afield, make her picture well known and hopefully someone will see a poster and contact you. Brilliant that she is CHIPPED. Helpers on DL will do their best to help you in your search and keep a look out for your lovely girl. Jan xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Friend describes Ruby as being a strange colour for a boxer. Mainly black, white chest and undocked tail. Have asked if owner registers can they clarify her colouring. Jan xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owners friend who actually put Ruby's detail on DL, a picture was sent but it must have not been received by admin, will try sending again any problems will send one by mobile. Ruby has gone missing from her home on Albert Road, Nr West Park a gate was left open. They have rung Sunnyside Kennels, Police and DW. Stressed they need to visit in person to kennels. Hopefully owner or friend will register and leave updates. Jan xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As soon as Admin receives a photograph, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Rubt well. Stay safe Ruby, until you are home x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
