Thanks LupusSarcina for cross checking. ROODY was registered on DL in 2007 and it was believed he had been involved in an RTA. Due to a site attack years ago his page may of moved back to the MISSING pages. Have moved him back to RAINBOW Bridge 🌈🌈🌈

Sorry I am running short on time so please check both links,
one matches the colour of your dog.
I was editing the links to match the Pom, but their are too many and I need to go to work.

Spoken to owner and sadly they believe Roody was involved in a fatal RTA.  They had been informed a dog fitting his description and the same time he went missing was involved in an accident.  Deepest thoughts are with his owners at the loss of their lovely boy.  Run free at the Bridge and sweet dreams Roody.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jane, I posted on Urmston.net about this about 2 weeks or so ago but for whatever reason the post wasnt authorised, which is annoying. It may not have been because I wasnt the owner - although I did point that out. The posters are still out and about all over the place in fact. I am still looking out for the fellaLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Roody I have seen your posters all over the M41 area. My hubby is the postman that you gave the poster to and this is displayed in the sorting office. I am still looking out for Roody. I will also put a posting onto our local forum in our area. Thinking about you - it must be an awful time. Did you ever hear back about the sighting near Humphrey Park ?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I had a telephone call last night to say there was a dog killed on the road behind my house which is the Carrington Spur road on the 12th sept at 5pm. The lady i spoke to said she saw it and at first she thought it was a cat she said it was definitely my dog it was rusty colour, she said she did not stop because the police were dealing with it. On speaking to the Highway police who put me through to the highways who put me through to the company in which collect all animals from accidents etc. They told me it was a small white short haired dog. They no longer have him because they dispose of them after a week. I was just wondering if anyone saw that accident and if they did was it my dog? we are so upset and desperate to know what has happened to him. Please dont stop looking for him as i dont think that was him. PLEASE HELP XXLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

roody welcome on board DL and thanks for posting it does help when helpers are kept up to date with sightings etc. Sorry I missed your call earlier but do not get home until late on Wednesday & Thursdays. You are doing the right things and need to poster as wide an area as possible. Roody may have been picked up and whoever has him may not have reported him to the right people, it just takes someone to see a poster and recognise Roody. Jan xxxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

As soon as Admin receives a photograph, the poster will be emailed out to helpers. Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Roody well. Stay safe Roody, until you are home x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
