She's such a cutie, so much like our stolen brindle pups. I hope she's home soon. Seems like the local police are better than ours.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

No word from the owners so far, just have to keep waiting, as you say Staffy Girl some people do not like to make their private life 'public' or they may not have any internet access ...................hoping to hear something though.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Staffy Girl, No I am not the owner - just a local helper - I have put a note through their door after a little dectective work (from the press release in the paper and chatting to a neigbour) found the right house - all we can do now is see if they want our help or not, I have given them my mobile no is they want to talk and I have asked them in the note to register with the site - its down to them now..keeping my eyes peeled on my travels though. Have just looked this up on Multimap - The Close is in Bradwell Village not Bradwell Common, and Winterhill is an industrial estate with no housing - The closest housing is Loughton Village on one side and Oldbrook, Fishermead and Eaglestone to the others - I would suggest that we poster the latter 3 first as these areas have a higher population of younger people in flats and bed sits.Somebody may have seen her. Hold tight baby girl we are looking for you.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

From tonights MK News, Gives me some where else to start looking and postering
Puppy stolen A puppy has been stolen during a burglary in Bradwell. The offender forced a door at a house in The Close at 3pm on Wednesday, causing the homeowner to rush downstairs to investigate. She saw the burglar run across the garden and jump over a small fence before he escaped in a black Volkswagen Polo with an 07 index plate. To her horror, the victim realised that her 13-week-old Staffordshire Terrier, called Baby Girl, was gone. She told police that the dog is extremely well natured. It is dark brown with white fur on her paws, which look like socks, white on her chest and a white spot on her tail. The dog is micro-chipped and detectives are hopeful that they will be able to trace it with the public's help. The offender is white, aged 23 or 24, 5ft 6ins, of medium build with blonde hair. He wore an earring and has a tattoo on his right arm, which looks like a Chinese symbol. He wore a blue hooded top with the hood up. It is believed that the getaway driver ped him off at a bus stop in Winterhill. Anyone with information can contact Detective Constable Susan Herbert on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

will ask mate at Thames Valley Police to see if they can send a message to owner's number (they can get her contact details from the crime report) asking victim to contact us! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Angus-all we know about this dog was forwarded to us by some one who saw the polices press release so we have no direct contact number. In the press release it mentioned their was no photo available-its frustrating for us as if we could contact them we could get a similar looking dog and get posters made up-as we all know poster work.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I took a very long slow drive around bradwell common yesterday , I must say I am now very worried for this little one, there are so many hoodies and HMO's and children sitting in the gutters outside houses - I did not know that MK had problems like this - I have to say that I will look from the car but not on foot, hopefully the owners will update us soon and give us a clue as to where to start.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

All the details are on our works bulletin board. It is nice to see that she was chipped, they have more of a chance of getting her back now. I do wish more people would be as sensible. Get home safely little girl. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Posters need to be displayed as soon as possible on notice boards, lamp posts, entrances to parks, dog bins and on cars. Take posters to vets, pet shops, postmen (for sorting offices), milkmen, dustmen, street cleaners, taxi drivers, schools, pubs, youth clubs, newsagents, post offices, takeaways, dog training clubs, supermarkets and car parks. Hand out reduced-down posters or cards to people - especially dog walkers - and deliver to houses and businesses. Police stations, Dog Wardens, the RSPCA and all rescue centres need checking frequently and preferably visited in person by owner or someone who knows Baby Girl well. Stay safe sweetheart until we find you x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Strange such a precise age for the thief? The name of the police woman in MK that helped me was WPC 6146 Standley. I am not sure if her patch covers Bradwell. The dog warden should be told, her phone number is MK 252398 but office hours seems to apply on that one. Get a crime ref number, as they wont do anything for a missing dog, but they will if it's reported as a theft. Thats 08458 505505 ask for Milton Keynes. Lastly get as many posters out as you can, talk to shop owners, use the local fast food places, vets all over MK as they are the first port of call if the new owners need help with her. Dont just sit and rely on the chip, you HAVE to get out there and tell everyone. I wish you luck as this was a deliberate crime. Noni (and Mollee)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
